Although it could be a weak water pump, I would say you have a 95% chance of a warped head which equals alot of money. After repatedly driving a vehicle hot it warps the head once that is done it's all over. You could try the old oven trick (unless your married) take the head off crank up your oven to 450 degrees and let it set in there for 2 hours this may straighten out the warped head.
Nothing will fix a leaking head gasket, except a new head gasket, your just wasting your money. If these so called sealants worked then I would pay 200 dollars for each tube, the simple fact is they do not work.
Also one other thing I forgot about is that your intake gaket could be leaking into your coolant and mixing with your oil, preventing proper cooling. I've seen this before.

Is the still oil in the coolant? This will increase viscosity and eventually stop the flow of coolant thru the radiator. What you have is probably an intermittent head gasket problem.
I have a 1994 BMW 525i. I was traveling when suddenly my car lost speed and instantly ran hot, oil was all over the rear of the car and then it shut itself off. I had it towed home. The next day I was told that I blew a head gasket. The car was NOT smoking AT all. As a matter of fact, once the car cooled down and I replaced the thermostat and oil, I had NO problems with the car. It started and ran PERFECTLY as it still is now. I drove the car like nothing ever happened for about 3 weeks or so with NO overheating problems or leaks. Oh yeah, there was lots of oil in my antifreeze but there was no antifreeze in the oil. I had the cooling system professionally flushed and filled. After that, the car ran like new for about 3 weeks or so. Then one day it started running hot and I haven't been able to get it to stop running hot since then. I just replaced the hoses, thermostat, radiator(new, not used), and ran Bar's Leaks Liquid Copper Block Seal thru it and it STILL runs hot. Starts and runs PERFECTLY just runs hot quickly. What's my problem. Is it the water pump? It's not making any noises and I can't detect any leaks in it but that's the ONLY thing I haven't replaced. Could it be that? Can I use Blue Devil Head Gasket Sealant? It says on the bottle and on ALL the youtube videos that it REALLY works for "BLOWN HEAD GASKETS, WARPED/CRACKED HEADS, LEAKING HEATER CORES AND LEAKING FREEZE PLUGS" Do you think that would work?
Oh yeah..............the car is not nor has it ever had white smoke coming out of the tailpipe. It just runs hot.
Is that what I saw when there was oil in my radiator tank? There was NO antifreeze in my oil though. It was the other way around. That problem was fixed with 2 professional super flush and fills. I'm just having the over heating issue. And my mom is WORSE than a wife could ever be. That's who I live with and she said, if it's not a cake, it ain't going in her oven, so, that's it for the "HEAD BAKING" solution :) but thanks.
