Changing the front passenger side axle on a 99 isuzu vehicross and it is sticky and won't come out. How can I get it to come off to replace it?

Support the axle housing with a jack. Unbolt the axle mounting bracket and remove the halfshaft/bracket assembly.

Many people have replaced the seal this way. It is an error. The passenger side axle is actually a 2-piece axle. The end of the outer axle shaft has a point to it. This pointed end slides into the other axle stub (inside where you cannot see). There is a thrust washer that is in between the two axle parts. This thrust washer falls down. When you put the outer axle back in, the washer is now out of place. So, when the front axle actuator tries to connect those two halves of axle together, the washer is in the way of the slip collar. Preventing the two halves of the axle from getting connected. See pictures online or a repair manual breakout of the front axle. What needs to be done, is to remove the passenger side tube and axle. replace the seal, then place the washer onto the outer axle and put the housing onto the inner housing with the outer axle already in place.

remove inner cv boot, just on inside edge is circlip which holds inner bearing joint into outer housing remove circlip and separate joint outer housing does not come out of front diff unless you drop or remove whole front diff assembly
will have to remove whole stub axle hub assembly to remove drive shaft from outer wheel stub axle (hub) assembly

Full service. Timing belt all filters axle oil check and if auto. transmition oil change if manual gear oil check.

Change front/rear axle oil
Change transfer case oil

Engine coolant
Rotate tires
Fluid level on battery/radiator/brakes
Change oil and filter
Inspect for fluid leaks
Inspect coolant and heater hoses
Check exhaust system
Check drive belts/tires/wheels/brake lines

Check suspension/steering/power steering fluid

Remove tire, remove axle nut, pop ball joint off, remove clip, pull axle
