Do you mean the oil level sensor was replaced, or do you mean the oil pressure sending unit was replaced?
If it was the oil pressure sensor was replaced, then I would look into an oil pump going bad, not supplying enough pressure to the oil pressure sensor. This can be tested by putting an oil pressure gauge into where the oil pressure sensor normally goes, bypassing the circuitry that leads to the dash light for the oil pressure.

If it was the oil level sensor, then check for bad wiring.

I have a 2003 dodge neon and everytime I stop at a red light my oil light comes on but as soon as I take off it goes off. Oil has changed a month ago, it's full and still clean. What could cause t

Your motor is getting Tired or your Oil Pump is going bad.

Dodge has a problem with their motors and their Oil Passages get GUNKED really bad. This is what you should do,...

A. Get 1.5 Quarts of Diesel Fuel and drive to where you have your Oil changed

B. Add the Diesel Fuel to the Oil and let it IDLE (don't Drive the car under operating conditions). Let it Idle for 15-20 minutes and then have your Oil Changed

C. Have them use 20W-50 Oil, this is going to raise your oil Pressure and the light will not come on anymore.

Reason... Metal parts are wearing and that is oil gets into the system to lube the bearings. Pump Screen may be clogged and this will dissolve the Carbon Build up.

Good :Luck

it is most definitely the oil pressure sender!

standing in front of your car, look behind your engine from above, below the head and screwed into the block on the right side is the sensor.

2001 plymouth neon oil light keeps blinling on and off

You have an oil leak. From where is the question. On most Dodge products, the oil pressure sensor is behind the oil filter. Petroleum products are solvents, however mild. This affects gaskets, wires, hoses, you name it. Have someone check the wires on the oil pressure sensor. Also see if it is screwed in tight. Neons are buzzy little engines and tend to have minor stuff wiggle loose from time to time. There is the possibility of having a "Double Gasket" on the oil filter which would cause the oil to leak and pressure to drop at lower RPMs. If all of that checks out, then you might need a new oil pump.

2003 Neon SXT Tranny Oil In Radiator

I'm not possitive but there is usually a vent tube on top of the transmission, may be possible that dirt or something is clogging it up. That would cause the tranny to build up pressure. But to blow the seal on a new radiator, I wouldn't imagine that. My opinion would be that the new radiator wasn't put together correctly. But just in case the vent tube did cause it to let go, check the vent. I hope that you find the problem. Best wishes.

Oil pressure light on at idle

Don't delay on this. Take the vehicle in and have the oil pressure sensor checked. It could be just the sensor or it could be something more serious. A drop in oil pressure could lead to catastrophic engine failure.
