Just to warn you if you live in a state (like PA) that has inspections, if you go to a parts store to get your codes erased, the codes still show in the computer and you wont pass inspection. You have to take it to the dealer and spend $$$ to have it erased from the cpu. This is for 96 and newer volvos. This is why I stick to rwd redblock bricks Adam - 92' 245 with 345k miles and still running like a top.
The Lumina has a sensor in the coolant overflow tank or expansion tank, this sensor is located on the side you will find it buy the wires going to it. Most times the sensor gets stuck. Rap the side of the tank in the location of the sensor to dislodge the little float. Try this and hope it helps.
That is your barometric sensor, also called the PA Sensor. If you have an external pa sensor that is separate from the ECU then change that, if your 1994 Civic has the sensor built in the ECU then you'll need to get the exact OBD1 ECU for your car. I had this problem with an Integra ECU. If you have an EX then you'll need the EX computer.
Im not sure what all you have done. You just put it in time with a timming light? I put new wires and cap rotar button on mine one time. And I dont know why but I put the wires on like it is turning counterclockwise. And it ran like that. After I put it clockwise it ran like a charm. Did you time it to zero deg tdc? And unhook the advance wire under the glove box? Its a little brown and white wire. I think.
I suspect you have a bad fan relay or temperature sensor. Here's a link to a page where you can see what these parts look like. The fan relay is usually located in the engine compartment inside a plastic box with a removable lid. It just plugs in and out. The temperature sensor will screw into your engine block and have a cable connected to it. Your owner's manual may give you their exact locations.
