What does your manual say, it will inform you as to the symbol and what a flashing or steady light means etc. Also to be on the safe side it would be in your best interest to also include the make and model of your car for a better answer.
This is the security indicator light. Designed to alert potential theives that the alarm is active. It is a L.E.D. lamp, and will not drain the aux battery. Nothing to worry about, this is normal. Hope this helps, and Thanks for choosing FixYa!
