Common problem for 2001 windstar no fuel preasure no pump running

sounds like fuel pump put a fuel preasure gauge on the fuel line under the hood turn on key check preasure .remember pump shuts off after 15 seconds if your too slow getting to guage to read what it says.

Can you hear the fuel pump run, if not it may have failed again. I have seen new fuel pumps last a day or two and then fail. If your pump is working then replace the fuel filter. Anytime you open the fuel system, you should replace the filter.

sounds like fuel pump or fuse or relay cheack for fuel preasure at injector rails if you have fuel preasure then check to see if you have spark at plugs if not replace crank sensor.

The first and most common is to check the fuelpump, if you have a preasure gauge check the preasure while cranking the engine, you can also turn key on and listen for humming noise from tank to see if pump is working. ive found that if one person trys starting the van while at the same time you beat on botoom of the center of the gas tank this shakes the fuel pump and van starts this means the pump is bad, give it a try. must beat while someone is cranking. NOTE; use rubber hammer.

make sure the points in the distributer are lined up and check the condition of the cam sensor and crank sensor

Have the fuel pressure checked, fuel pump on the way out or fuel pressure regulator failing not enough fuel pressure.

The rear only supplies fuel to the front tank. The front tank has the high pressure pump in it, to supply the fuel rail.

what year? 2110 or 2010 or 2001, if its 2001 then have the fuel preasure checked may have weak pump, also common for bad coil wire and distrubutor caps. start there good luck.
