You would be better off going to a auto salvage yard an getting a whole wring harness out of S-10 that had a V-6 with TBI ! Go on the internet , some salvage places have a hot line so to speak an can find one . 4 3L V6 Intermediate Wiring Harness EFI TBI Chevy S10 GMC S15 Blazer Jimmy... This just an example !
the 2.2 is a 4 cylinder and all other stock motor's for an s-10 are v6's if the motor your thinking of is a 4.3L vortec then good choise, it and a 350cid v8 use the same bell housing but u will have to upgrade to a tranny from the larger engin's to make it work, and to hadle tha added pewer reliably

1.9L engine the firing order is: 1-3-4-2 . Distributor rotates counterclockwise.
2.0L engine the firing order is: 1-3-4-2 . Distributor rotates clockwise.
2.5L engine the firing order is: 1-3-4-2 . Distributor rotates clockwise.
2.8L engine the firing order is: 1-2-3-4-5-6 . Distributor rotates clockwise.
4.3L engine the firing order is: 1-6-5-4-3-2 . Distributor rotates clockwise.
