Sounds like the alarm is problematic. Try sticking the key in the drivers side door and go through the motion of unlocking the door. If that doesn't work the only other thing I know is:
The module is located behind the glove box--HOWEVER, YOU CANNOT RETRIEVE IT THRU THE ACCESS PANEL WITHIN THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT!!!

YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE DASH PAD AND THEN THE ENTIRE DASH ASSEMBLY SURROUNDING THE GLOVE BOX SIDE. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAD TO REMOVE THE DASH PAD AND PANEL BUT IT TRULY WAS NOT DIFFICULT--JUST A BIT TIME CONSUMING. I COMPLETED THE JOB IN 45 MINUTES--THAT INVOLVED THE REMOVAL AND RE-INSTALLATION.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT WHEN YOU GO TO UNPLUG THE ANTI-THEFT MODULE THE CAR MUST BE RUNNING!!!!

THE MODULE IS LOCATED TO THE EXTREME LEFT AS YOU ARE SITTING IN THE SEAT LOOKING AT THE GLOVE BOX AREA. IT IS HELD ON WITH ONE SCREW.

I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN PHOTOS BUT MY SON WAS HOME JUST FOR THE NIGHT AND I WANTED TO FIX IT QUICKLY BEFORE HE RETURNED TO COLLEGE--AT LEAST I KNOW HE WILL NO LONGER HAVE A DEAD BATTERY!!!

I WOULD RATE THIS A 2 OUT OF TEN EASY FIX--TRULY THE ONLY DIFFICULTY WAS ALL THE REMOVAL TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE ALARM.

This seems to be a very common problem with this model.
Sorry I couldn't give you a definitive answer
Good luck

Abs light stays on and is flashing a i think acode

hi Robert

you can check the ABS fault code as following:

switch ignition on and wait for the abs light to start to flash.
it will flash in long and short flashes, long flash stands for ten, short flash stands for one, there is a short pause in between, and long pause after each code, take a note of the code and Google it
good luck
