Hello! I need to know if the fuel pump relay is pulling...If you have a volt meter the easiest place to test is at the inertia switch...Also known as the fuel cut-off switch...If the switch needs to be reset there will be a light on the dash...The switch is located on the toe board to the right of the transmission hump, in the passenger foot well...Wire colors are...Dark Green/Yellow...Pink/Black...And Gray/Orange...Set meter to read +12 volts...Pull connector plug from switch...Place + probe of meter on the Dark green/Yellow...Place - probe to ground...With key in the on position you must read +12 volts on that wire...If not the fuel pump relay is not pulling...Send a comment and I'll take it from there...Guru..Saailer

Motor turns over won't start. Cleaned terminals, put in new battery, still won't start. Removed gas cap to vent air on hot day, still won't start. Lights all come on, all electrics appear to...

Your problem may be one of the following:
First check or just replace the fuel filter. Usually located under the car in front of the rear axle, drivers side.
Next, the fuel pump may be worn out. Usually they get loud or stop working (running).
Next, check the fuel pressure regulator. Usually located on the front fuel rail, drivers side.
Is the vacuum line attached? Not leaking or rotted?
Also, do you smell a strong fuel odor when it won't start? May be one or more stuck-open injectors, or the coil pack is bad.
Checking these in the order listed will more than likely fix your problem.
The clicking noise indicates the battery can no longer run the starter, which also means the fuel pump won't run either.

It could be a fuel issue. How old is the fuel filter? Can you hear the pump run for a few seconds when you turn the key on? Try turning the key to ON without trying to start engine three times waiting for the pump to stop running each time. Then try to start the engine. If it starts, Its a form of Vapor lock caused by the extreme heat we have had lately, and a weak fuel pump.

If none of this works, try a new fuel filter first. From there have someone check the fuel pressure regulator and then the pump. If you are in need of a new pump, take my word for it and spend the money to get one from a Dealer, and not from your favorite parts store. Most parts store parts are made in China and they are JUNK.

Will not Start but turns over not getting gas replaced spark plugs and wires Injectors but still does not start. Put gas in by pouring it in starts but not run.

Have you checked the fuel pump and fuel filter? The filter might clogged not allowing gas into the engine. The pump might be bad so you're engine won't be getting any gas there either. Both of those are cheap and easy home fixes as well.

My 2001 L Series Saturn ran out of gas, then after 1 gallon of gas was added to the tank, the engine would not turn over. Any suggestions for how to get it to start?

the fact that it won`t turn over is just a coincedent it happened when you ran out of gas.i`m assuming that you mean the motor won`t turn over at all and not that you mean it will turn over and not start.if it is the latter then the fuel needs time to fill the lines and pressurize the fuel system while cranking over.

Car won,t fire up but trying to turn over its as

Lots of reasoons for a no start this answer is as if it was running OK just the other day and was starting OK. The gas tank has gas? Spinning real freely indicates to me that the timing belt broke. The oil cap off the valve cover look in there to see the cam and crank engine you should see it turn. The fuel pump may not be coming on. The fuel filter could be frozen not letting the gas go though. The spark may not be happening as A senser or also a plug wire or other wire off inspection of these things something off can be the only problem
