Fuel Filter On all models except the Millenia, the fuel filter is attached to a bracket located in the left rear of the engine compartment, next to or beneath the brake master cylinder fluid reservoir. On the Millenia, the fuel filter is located beneath an access cover in the trunk. Access to the cover is achieved by removing the trunk mat to expose the cover.

I have a Mazda 626 es 2001, for a couple of weeks now my car takes several attempts to start normally like (4x)(clicking sound) ,but it has always started there after. Today I attempted to start the car ...

I don't know exactly, but mine was doing that. We got the started replaced and it still wouldn't start. Then had the fuel pump and filter replaced. Try the fuel pump first.....Just my advise after $559 in repairs.

Where is the fuel filter located on a 1999 Mazda 626?

For 1996 Mazda 626 2.5L MFI DOHC 6cyl the Fuel Filter is located under hood, driver side, engine side of strut tower, below air filter housing, mounted in fuel line.

Hope helps (remember rated this).

2001 mazda 626 rpm going up to 4 before going into 2nd gear

the transmission and filter need to be changed quickly, the oil is most likely burnt and/or the filter is covered with funk, once those are swapped then your ride should cruise just fine.

2001 mazda 626 4 cyl engine turns over, but won't start.Feels like it is not getting any gas.

See about getting a fuel pressure test. Or if your bold just go ahead and change the fuel filter. If both fail you might need a fuel pump
