transfer case takes regular dexron3 auto trans fluid. nothing special. cheap fluid compared to other fluids for your truck.

To catch gear oil, use a clean container with 3.0 liter capacity with a scale.
^ Shift rod is secured.

- Install pivot pin - arrow 2 - with a new O-ring
- Screw in oil drain plug - arrow 1 -.

Top off gear oil quantity in container to 1.7 liters.

- Connect a standard hose (approximately 600 mm long, outer circumference 10 mm) with funnel.
- Insert hose into mounting hole of back-up light switch (2nd technician) and fill the transmission oil.
- Reinstall switch for Back-Up Light Switch F4 - arrow -.
- Check function of selector mechanism.
- Install complete air filter housing.
- Install noise insulation.

Wont change gears

I'm not the most mechanically inclined, but I too had this problem awhile back but with a Ford F-150, and my problem was my slave cylinder check your clutch fluid, If its low then its most likely your slave cylinder has went out
