2006 dodge grand caravan transmission fluid low but cannot find a leak

check your rear main seal. Also try changing your trans fluid, trans filter, and your transmission pan seal. I recommend you put lucas transmission oil in it and a quart of the Lucas Stop Slip and leak sealer

1996 chevy Cavalier, where is the transmission located? It seems to be leaking transmission fluid

Your transmission is bolted to the back of the engine. (it's big). What you need to do is actually look underneath and find the source of the leak (could be a cooling line or a seal) If it's a line you can replace it. If it's a seal, that's more complicated but you could try lucas transmission conditioner to stop the leak or slow it down. (conditioner is added through the dipstick tube...if you can't find it you man not have one...then you will need someone to show you where the fill plug is).

1992 grand prix transmission slip in reverse

Slow, slipping or no reverse: “lo-reverse” clutches are worn out, fluid leak in the reverse apply circuit. It is possible to remedy a fluid problem by removing the checkball from its cage in the case in the trans may help (must remove valvebody), or adding a high-viscosity additive such as Lucas Transmission additive or other seal restorer product. May also have worn boost valve (can replace in the pan).

Thank you for using fixya and good luck

2005 dodge caravan, leaking power steering fluid(rack n pinion), i am using lucas power steering stop leak. How long can i go with(lucas) before i replace the rack? fluid is not leaking anymore...

I really wouldn't push it more than 3 months or especially if climate change once the leak stop has stopped the leak it doesn't like temp change. but i've done radiator stop leak from Lucas and went 6 months before the leak appeared again. good luck

2004 Dodge Grand Caravan Water pump

If it's red, it's transmission fluid. Coolant would be green. Check the fluid level, don't let it get low, Chrysler minivans are prone to transmission troubles, and low fluid levels over time will ruin a a transmission. And be sure not to overfill, it's just as bad for the trans. Have the leak checked out and repaired, good luck
