SOURCE: Passenger window only works from drivers switch

If you have already replaced the passenger side switch and it still doesnt work its a good chance that there is a pinched wire in the door itself. However usually it wont work from the drivers side either. But I still suggest looking there first.

SOURCE: power windows

As long as the windows will work fine some of the time, it sounds like the problem is in the power supply and replacing the fuse should fix it, otherwise there may be a loose wire somewhere in the circuitry.

SOURCE: 2003 Dodge durango sport all four power windows not working

I know its not what anyone would want to here but sounds like a short. Best thing to do is first wiggle your key switch when the vehicle in in the on position then at the same time try to check to see if locks or windows are working. Then do the same in while the rig is running. If that dont work your ignition is fine and you need to take off door panels and check and wiggle all conections on window motors and lock motors and look for melted or burt wire or some that might have got hot. If all is good there you need to go to the back of the fuse box were the fuses to those items plug in and check there. As far as the service engine light goes either take it to the nearest Schucks or AutoZone and they will check it for free if not cycle the key on and off 3 times and on the 3rd time leave it in the on position look at your odometer light and it will flash a code remember that code and type Dodge then the code on yahoo search and it should tell you why your light is on Hintz whay sensor is bad. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan Driver Door Lock/Unlock Switch

sorry not sure the 12v prob will help this swtich works on 5v off 3v unlock 1v lock single wire lock/unlock logic signals
I found wiring diagrams at
http://www.dodge.com/bodybuilder/2004/docs/wd/rswd/tc.pdf
it is 2004 but use the wiring diagrams to test the wires
(most likely to fail where they flex)
because it is using logic gates disconnect the plug at each end of the wire you are testing or the damn thing will find a few diffrent ways to trick you.

The switch itself may be faulty. Have you tested it with an ohmmeter? Have you tested power to the passenger switch with a voltmeter?

Door lock receiver on a2001 Pontiac Grand am

Do they work with the key fob, do you have one of those? They lock when put into gear an unlock when put into park because the BCM - body control module does that .

Door Lock System Components
The power door lock system consists of the following components:
• Driver door lock switch
• Front Passenger door lock switch
• Body Control Module (BCM)
• Relays: Driver Door Unlock -- on vehicles with RFA, Door Unlock, and Door Lock
• Door Lock fuse 15A
Door Lock System Controls
The power door lock system can be controlled by any of the following:
• A power door lock switch activation
• A keyless entry command -- if equipped with keyless entry

Driver and Passenger Door Lock Operation
When any of the door lock switches is pressed to the lock position, the BCM door lock/unlock signal circuit changes from an idle voltage of ~3.4 volts to 0.0 volts generating a lock command. The BCM then applies battery positive voltage to the Door Lock Relay, which in turn applies battery positive voltage to the Door Lock Actuator lock circuit of all the Door Lock Actuators. Since the Door Lock Actuator unlock circuits are held to ground through the resting Door Unlock Relay(s), the actuators execute the lock command, locking the doors.
The lock function can also be accomplished by the BCM having received a keyless entry door lock command, if the vehicle is equipped with keyless entry.

Driver and Passenger Door Unlock Operation

When any of the door lock switches is pressed to the unlock position, the BCM door lock/unlock signal circuit changes from an idle voltage of ~3.4 volts to ~1.7 volts generating an unlock command. The BCM then applies battery positive voltage to the Door Unlock Relay and the Driver Door Unlock Relay when equipped with keyless entry, the relay(s) in turn apply battery positive voltage to the Door Lock Actuator unlock circuit of all the Door Lock Actuators. Since the Door Lock Actuator lock circuits are held to ground through the resting Door Lock Relay, the actuators execute the unlock command, unlocking the doors.
The unlock function can also be accomplished by the BCM having received a keyless entry door unlock command, if the vehicle is equipped with keyless entry. Keyless entry personalization allows the driver door to be unlocked individually before unlocking the passenger doors. When this feature is active, the BCM will require a repeated unlock command to unlock the passenger doors.

Automatic Door Lock/Unlock
The automatic door lock/unlock function is a Vehicle Personalization feature with the following four programmable modes of operation:
The automatic door lock feature is disabled.
All of the doors lock when the vehicle is shifted out of Park with the ignition ON.
All of the doors lock when the vehicle is shifted out of Park with the ignition ON, and all of the doors Unlock when the vehicle is shifted into Park.
All of the doors lock when the vehicle is shifted out of Park with the ignition ON, and only the driver door Unlocks when the vehicle is shifted into Park.
For information on programming the automatic door locks, refer to Vehicle Personalization in Personalization.

1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo TSI, Passenger side windows do not work from master switch on drivers door. Both driver side windows work from master switch on drivers side. Passenger side windows do work...

It has to be the switch or the wiring, right? So pull out the switch and probe the back with a volt meter to see if power is coming out of the switch. If yes, trace the wires to the doors.

My power door locks stopped working. When I press

The locks don't work from any switch or just the driver's door switch ? The door locks are controlled by the BCM - body control module , that's were the clicking you hear is coming from there are no fuse's that are marked for the locks , fuse's for the BCM .

Door Lock System Components
The power door lock system consists of the following components:
• Driver door lock switch -- Uses a single signal wire for both lock and unlock switch activations
• Front passenger door lock switch -- Uses a single signal wire for both lock and unlock switch activations
• BCM -- Class 2 module which requires programming when replaced
• Reversible door lock actuators in each of the doors
• BCM PWR 15A fuse -- Located in the BCM fuse panel, supplies power for the door lock system

The BCM PWR fuse supplies battery positive voltage to the BCM for the door lock system.
The BCM supplies and monitors a reference voltage to the door lock switch through the door lock switch lock/unlock signal circuit. The door lock switch also receives a constant ground source. If a door lock switch is placed in the lock position, the reference voltage is taken directly to ground and the BCM senses 0.0 volts on the signal circuit. If a door lock switch is placed in the unlock position, the reference voltage is taken to ground through a 15k ohm resister that is internal to the door lock switches and senses approximately 2.9 volts on the signal circuit. This is how the BCM determines what portion of the door lock switch was activated.
The BCM, upon receipt of a door lock switch lock or unlock signal, will switch the appropriate door lock actuator control circuits to battery positive voltage. The opposing side of the door lock actuators are connected to ground internally within the BCM through the other door lock actuator control circuit and the doors will lock or unlock appropriately.
Vehicles without keyless entry have two internal drivers in the BCM to control the door lock actuators. All door lock and all door unlock. Vehicles equipped with keyless entry have three internal drivers in the BCM. Driver door unlock, passenger door unlock and all door lock. This is done to isolate the driver door lock actuator so it can be unlocked by itself using the keyless entry transmitter.

Power locks don't work with remote or control from

The door lock/unlock input from the driver's key switch goes to the Door Multiplex control unit (main switch), the Door multiplex control unit then sends a signal on the BUS (CAN) circuit to the passenger's multiplex control unit; the passenger's multiplex control unit then controls all the door locks. The passenger's door lock key switch inputs to the passenger's multiplex control unit, if the locks work from the passenger's side key switch but not the driver's side key switch, the most likely cause is the driver's multiplex control unit (main switch) not sending the signal to the passenger's side multiplex control unit. This could also be the drivers side door lock actuator. Hope this helps!
