If it smells like burning then its oil....if its scentless its water. Depends whether it disappears when engine is warmed up and what the outside temperature is.

In the morning,it is quite common for some white smoke to appear due to the difference in temperature of the outside and the heat of the engine, but should stop after warming up.If there is excessive smoke, there could be more wrong, possibly a blown head gasket.Try having a pressure check done on the cooling system as well as a compression test done on the cylinders.

Isuzu 3000/Diesel/Turbo/Wizard, I can see a bit of Oil coming from Intake/ThroughBody direct to the Turbo & there also a White Smoke from the exhaust + Misfiring and the car is not pooling as uses to be......

white smoke from the exhaust.. sounds like you have blown a head or intake gasket,, you have antifreeze/coolant getting into the fuel mixture.. CHECK your oil for water/coolant/antifreeze contamination...These are the symptoms that your describe.. if you have oil contamination, DO NOT crank the engine again UNTIL AFTER you get it repaired...

please mark as helpful..thanks

My isuzu kb300 2005model gives white smoke and sometimes it cant accelerate and engin light comes on

KB
Welcome to the USA Fixya.com forum!
we don't have KB here. sorry.
History.(1 line, all bad)
2005 - Isuzu dealers in the United States have only one model, the Ascender SUV,
and guess what?, it's a rebadged GM car here, no more cars here, real isuzu.
KB are in Africa, Australia and in EUROPE not here in USA. so no books here to cover it.
nor is it covered here, at our great ,Mitchells online.

The KB300 is a 2.999 liter diesel, some are TDI. (most?)
and is called the 4JJ1-TC. (t= turbo)
That is direct injected, (means check turbo , and scan it first) after checking fuses.
The Check engine light on, same deal.
Check filters. for fuel and air.
2004 the D-max , family , introduced the DDI-ITeq common rail diesel engine.

So next time post your country.
And all symptoms.
power loss?
smoke?
Noises?
warning lamps.
etc.

Why would oil be in my coolant?

Oil in coolant, white smoke at start up = blown head gasket or cracked cylinder.

White smoke is water vapor from coolant. Only at startup indicates a small (extremely small) leak -- it will get bigger. Only at startup is because as engine cools it sucks water into cylinder. A compression check will tell you which cylinder is the problem (could be multiple)

My isuzu 4JA1 engine tends to exhaust white smoke

White smoke means that you have a coolant leak. Two possible causes for that - either the head gasket is punctured and must be replaced or the head itself is damaged and must be welded by an expert.
Either way the engine must be dismantled to make a full diagnose and repair.

Isuzu trooper 2003, skyroof version, 4jx engine. Diesel and oil mixing in engine. It might be the electronic fuel injector o ring. Need help badly. Isuzu alabang is giving me some pain. Big Black smoke...

If you are sure that the engine oil is coming into the combustion chamber, then you have to overhaul the engine. After the overhaul is done, have it calibrated and and clean the exhaust pipe to get rid of the black smoke. And! remember, for diesel engines a big black smoke will always come out the exhaust if you suddenly step on the gas too deep and then over-revving it. (I mean always, that's why roadside emissions people are so stupid when stepping on the gas, they always step on it suddenly and over-rev it, it's a sure fail)

Can i replace a 3.0litres diesel turbo engine from a 2002 isuzu trooper with a 3.1litres diesel turbo engine. And if possible how can this be done?

Yes you can . Requires some skills but the only bits that dont work after are the speedo and the rev counter .

These can be made to work but its a bit tricky ..

Oil mixing with Diesel and car emits white smoke.

The copper washers on the bottom of the injectors can give this fault if they are not renewed when the injectors are replaced .

If you have changed these allready and made sure you pulled them down exactly as the manual says in 3 stages then you may have a bad injector - see your Isuzu dealer .

2003 f250 won't start

Is this a small amount of white smoke or a lot of white smoke? If it is a lot of white smoke it could be a head gasket problem.

1. Do you have coolant in oil or vice versa?
2. Pull spark plugs and inspect for plugs wet with coolant.
3. Do a compression test and check for a low cylinder.

If you have issues in any of these points you will need to replace the head gaskets.

Large amount of white smoke on first start of the day

Have you had the injector recall check carried out? There is a problem with these injectors and this produces the symptoms you are describing. I suggest that you contact Isuzu direct for help. They have been very helpful in the case of my trooper
