I am looking for a timescale for fitting a turbo to a peugot diesel car

May be a wre or plug came undone .

1:look on the suzuki site, and pretend to buy that part,'
2: buy the book there, the service manual.
3: buy part in any online store, look for said part.
4: google that engine,but....
5: tap tap tap front cover, metal? chains or gears, plastic= belt

Hi, I would imagine the letters GTSD, sum it up, ie, the TD bit means Turbo Diesel. not sure.
Hope this helps, you could look for pictures of turbos on web, basically its a fan, driven by exaust gases, that turns a fan that forces more air into engine,= more speed.so its going to be between exaust manifold and air intake, I have fitted them, but cant really explain them in simplistic terms.

YOU HAVE A AIR LEAK IN THE TURBO SYSTEM CK HOSE'S MY 2006 3500 SPLIT THE HOSE HIGH WHISTLING SOUND. LOW POWER / AND LIMP MODES TOO. ORDER THIS AND BINGO IF FIX IT . YES THE OLD TURBO RESONATOR HAD SPLIT TOO. I did not use the o-ring from the old part I found one 1 side down that fit tight around the new part. A loose o-ring is going to weak air too. Got mine on ebay.

jack up the car and look at the exhaust system..If you cant see or feel any holes or leaks then it could be up on the exhaust manifold..a peugot should not sound like a V8 diesel. you really shouldnt be able to tell its diesel until you floor it

You can fit a turbo to just about any car, the problems lie in changing the inlet and exhaust manifolds to house the turbo of choice and supplying the turbo with oil and water to cool it, also if the car has a ECU getting it chipped to provide the right amount of fuel at the right time.
To be honest if you want a turbo car it is best to buy one with a turbo already fitted as it will probably cost you less to buy for example a Mitsubishi Colt Turbo (around £1500) than to fit a Garrett Turbo (around £3000 with fitting and manifolds) to your 205. Not to mention that the gearbox, brakes and suspension would need to be upgraded aswell.

could be a dodgey starter motor, is the car petrol or diesel, if its diesel id recemend changeing the heater plugs and diesel filter thats if they have,nt been done in the lastyear or more
