Sounds like a low coolant indicator.
Is the car running hot? Check and top off coolant (Radiator fluid) but do NOT open radiator cap if the engine has run in the past hour. Most times you top off the fluid by filling seperate reservoir

this is your low coolant light. the overflow tank is on the passenger side fender under the hood, and if you look on the side you will see a line that indicated when full. good luck!

LOW COOLING WARNING LIGHT.CHECK YOUR ANTIFREEZE LEVEL IT IS LOW.WHICH WILL CAUSE OVERHEATING AND ENGINE DAMAGE.

It may be the temperature light. It's hard to say by your description. Take a look inside the owner's manual to confirm.

I don't know what the light that came on means.

That light indicates you are low on coolant. Make sure the engine is completly cold and remove your radiator cap, fill to top with new coolant, also fill reserve bottle to cold line.

I have another issue with the car and hope you don't mind me asking. The car always starts, but when I shut it off and leave it for 10 minutes or more, it will not start on the first try, but will on the second or third. Any thoughts? Thank you in advance!

could be your purge or EGR valve is sticking open, or possibly injectors are leaking. Is your engine light on? If not, try a can of injector cleaner.
