The battery is located in the drivers front wheel well in front of the front tire.
to service the battery or change the battery the drivers front tire is removed and the access panel removed then the battery is visible. disconnect the negative battery cable then the positive, then the battery hold down bolt.

2000 ford tarsus won turn over when trying to

You've either a dead battery or dirty terminals. Clean the terminals at battery and charge it up if needed. First try jumping the battery from another vehicle. If you get power from the jump, then it's what I told you.

Batt problems termal all chorid

battery terminal problems can be handled with simple steps Firstly remove both terminals and clean posts with sand paper. clean inside terminals until shiny metal. Remove corrosive gunk with a mixture of sodium di carbonate(baking soda from the kitchen). It will fizz up and neutralise the battery acid on the terminals and on top of the battery Was clean --replace the terminals --- and use crc soft seal to further protect the terminals from a reoccurrence of the problem

My dodge 2002 makes a clicking noise once whe i try to start it the lights come on but i cant jump it either is this a problem with the starter

it could very well be a starter but first i would test the battery and see what it reads should be at least (12.75) or so depends on the battery and if that is good then i would check the battery cables to see if they are loose or corroded if they have wires showing and you see white or green residue on them its time to clean them you can use a wire brush and clean the terminals at the same time then reconnect them and if it still doesn't work i would test the starter solenoid and the starter itself

My vehicle will not start. the engine makes no sound, so what may be the problem and how do i fix it.

if you have coroded battery terminals clean them with water and baking soda and a wire brush then reconnect them and seal them with vasoline then jump start the car also if your terminals are corroded most likely the battery is shot and the alternator will burn up trying to charge a weak battery so replace the battery if bad or you will be replacing the alternator soon as well

My 2004 mini cooper will not take a jump. The car was running fine. I ran into a store and 3 minutes later attempted to start it and NOTHING. So I attempted to jump it, Mini will not take a jump. Any idea...

If you are trying to jump from the factory "Jump start" terminals and nothing is working, You should suspect your cable to battery connections. Remove the battery cables from the battery and clean the battery posts and the cable terminals. (Auto parts stores sell a very inexpensive tool to do this) Reinstall and tighten the terminals.

My 2001 Mazda 626 just makes a click sound when I try to turn it on. It did turn on when my husband slammed the hood down. Could it be the starter?

Could be, could also be dirty or loose battery terminals. Feel the terminals immediately after attempting to start. if they are hot, they are the problem. Clean each one in a solution of hottish water and baking soda, about a table spoon to a pint. Wash in clean water. Clean inside the terminals and outside of the posts with emery cloth or a stiff wire brush. Clean the battery top with the soda water but don't let it get into the battery cells. Rre-fit the terminals and smear each liberally with petroleum jelly.
