I would start by removing the wheels and finding the bleed screw or bolt.
Pour a little brake fluid on the bolt to free up the rust that will form over time.
Then use a box end wrench to open the bleeder.

Fill the master cylinder with brake fluid and have some ready to add as you bleed the brakes.

Have an assistant push down on the brake pedal until it bottoms out and fluid squirts out of the bleeder screw area.

Watch your eyes.

Then tighten the bleeder screw.

Have them pump up the brakes again.

Do this in sequence from the furthest wheel from the master cylinder to the closest, and you'll be done.

no
I think you got bad advice
possible no brake fluid in the master cylinder
always start bleeding at the longest line first working back to the shortest

Please start again as there is no connection between clutch and brake.See if there is a bleed screw on the abs unit crack the lines at the brake m/cyl and press on the brake until there is pressure tighten the lines and start bleeding the brakes from the longest line first. Keep an eye on the resevoir level all the while

We have a Saturn Vue 2005 we bleed the clutch but still doesn't work? What next?

Unless you have a leak in the system, It should work. The master should be full of fluid, somebody pumping up the pedal and somebody cracking the plug with the pedal down, you might have to do this a bunch of times to get it going, keep an eye on the reservoir and keep it full, If the pedal never pumps anything up, something is clogged or leaking. Look for leaks, But it should be squirting out all over the place. If the pressure plate is the problem or the throwout bearing, then bleeding the clutch is the last thing on your list. Hope this helps.

I have a 2005 Saturn Vue. When I hit the brakes and let off the pedal all the way, I have no problem. But, when slowing down and only letting off the pressure I put on the pedal a little and then applying...

Master cylinder would be the obvious solution, but it seems a bit soon for a six year old vehicle, unless you do a tremendous amount of short distance stop/start driving. You could try bleeding the brakes and renewing the fluid, but I doubt if that will solve your problem, it definitely sounds like worn seals in the master cylinder.

Saturn Vue 2004 model

more than likely you have warped brake rotors. or lack of parallelism in the rotors. you can get them machined if there is enough meat left on the rotor or just buy a new set which isn't all that bad for that vehicle since it's a floating rotor. good luck
