This can be a bigger job than most people think. So consider your skill level and available tools before you start.
1. Allow the radiator to cool
2. Drain and properly dispose of radiator fluid (it is sweet to the taste and poisonous, it destroys the kidneys and if enough is ingested there is no antidote or cure)
3. Remove the large upper and lower radiator hoses (They may be rotted and damaged in removal and may have to be replaced)
4. Remove the fan shroud (Plastic piece attached to the engine side of the radiator)
5. Sometimes the cooling fan needs to be removed as well to allow the shroud to come out. (if equipped with electric cooling fans these should be removed by unplugging and then unbolting them.)
6. Unbolt the radiator and lift it from it's mounts (generally rubber pieces used to isolate the radiator from vibration, be careful not to lose these).
7. Sometimes a smaller "radiator" actually a transmission cooler is present (on automatic models) and needs to be unbolted from the radiator before it can be removed.
Reassembly is the exact opposite.
Though it is not technically difficult, proper tools, keeping bolts organized, tight working space in the engine compartment and stubborn bolts all can be issues which can make the job miserable.
