My Nissan Altima (2003) 4 cyl has started to have a rough shift from 1st to 2nd gear. After 15-20 minutes of driving, the shift become smooth/normal. I have 105,000 miles on it and have changed the trans fluid every 50,000 miles. Any Ideas of what is causing the hard shifting and how to fix the problem?

The transmission is failing here, you need a transmission repair shop tech to drive this and give you the finale word but i think you will need a transmission rebuild.

2003 altima 2.5 l rough shift from 1st to 2nd, disappears once warmed up

This can be caused by a sticky solenoid which is not a huge or expensive part but is a pain to change, you need to get the car plugged into a live scanner for the auto where it can be driven while the fault is being observed, this way they can determine which solenoid is at fault.

2003 nissan altima 2.5s transmission rough shift

Probably sensors! I have already replaced the crankshaft positioning sensor once, nissan replaced it once under recall and now it is bad again! Plus my speed sensor is bad too! Go to any part store and get diagnostic test ran, it will tell what sensors are bad.
