If you are turning the key and it isn't turning over or anything and all the other electrical is working, there could be a problem with the ignition switch. But also if the theft system has been messed with, it's hard to tell what was messed up and mis-wired.

2007 impala won't start sometimes

The most likely problem is a failed safety switch in the transmission. It will only allow the engine to turn over when in "neutral", or "Park". Next time it happens try moving the transmission selector through the full range of travel a couple of times. If this cures the problem, you may need new switch.

"2003 Chevy Impala won't start". Car would not

The alternator is not charging,or the battery wont take a charge. If all accessories work fine when its running after you've boosted it,its likely the battery.

2003 impala everything works won't start won'crank

If you try to start the vehicle and there is a click when you turn the key, but does not start, you may have a solenoid problem. This is usually about 3 inches long and 1.5 inches in diameter and attaches to your starter. Try giving it a sharp tap with a hammer as this is often enough to loosen contact points inside.

2003 Impala will start sometimes

it is possible that it's the ignition switch that's faulty, or one of the relays in the ignition circuit

I have 2003 chevy impala the transmission starts shifting hard after the car is up to operating temp.sometimes you can turn it off and start it again and it will stop that for a little while.

Have the vehicle scanned. If you have a code in the computer for maximum adapt/ long shift, replace the EPC pressure control solenoid. This a real common problem on the 4t65e transmission.

2003 Chevy Impala starting issue

Sounds like the neutral safety switch is faulty. Slamming the shifter into Park has temporarily solved the condition for some, but the switch may have to be replaced.
