All of the power windows in my car have stopped working. I presume that it's a blown fuse, but the owner's manual doesn't specify which fuse pertains to the power windows. Does anyone know?

Check owners manual for your fuse box location. Remove and replace blown fuse. Normally located under driver side dash, passanger side dash or under your hood
Go to Justgivemethedamnmanual.com on the web and you can download all of the recentTaurus owner's manuals. Then look in the index under "fuse box". This will show you where the fuse box is located under the dash and the locationf each fuse. o
Sounds like a fuse problem. Check your fuses. If you need help find the exact fuses for power windows, look in your owners manual. In many cases, they can be in the engine compartment or the drivers kick panel. If you cannot tell if a fuse is blown, use a volt meter set to check continuity. If the voltmeter reads 0 or .1, the fuse is fine, if it reads 1, the fuse is blown. Hope this helps
LOOK FOR BLOWN WINDOW CIRCUIT BREAKER.YOU HAVE A SHORT IN WINDOW SWITCH OR BAD WINDOW ELECTRIC MOTOR.YOUR HEAT PROBLEM IS A STOPPED UP HEATER CORES.THE STOP LEAK STOP ITS HEAT.THE STOP LEAK HAS STOPPED OR PLUGGED YOUR HEATER CORE SO COOLANT CANT PASS THROUGH IT.YOU GOING HAVE TO FIX RADIATOR LEAK AND REPLACE HEATER CORE TO GET HEAT AGAIN.
WOW...there should be a relay or fuse for those and the owners manual should show it. Thake the fuse cover off and sometime they are marked on the back of the panel....good luck.
See if you have power coming out of the master power window switch when a button is pushed down. Remove a door panel and check for power at the window motor with the switch pushed. If you do not have power it could be the master switch. Good luck.
First check the fuses if you have not done so. You will need to remove the door panel to get to the driver side window switch, the power for all of the windows enters through the driver side switch. Use a multi meter to determine if power is reaching the switch, if it is not, run a temporary wire from the fuse panel to the switch and see if that will work the windows. If it now works you know the problem is a bad wire. If you are getting power to the switch but not power out the other side you know the switch is bad and must be replaced.
Most likely it is the fuse. You can pull one fuse at a time and look to see which one is blown. The back of the fuse box cover should say where the fuse is,or consult the owners manual.
