H2o i have a 2002 dodge stratus coupe...this past weekend while on a road trip, the floorboard behind the driver seat and the driver floorboard became soaking wet. the water is standing and has to be shop-vac'd out. any suggestions as to where it's coming from and what the problem is? how about info on how to fix it? can't afford dealer prices... thanks shannon [email protected]

    I noticed the same problem last night, but it is only in the front driver side floorboard. I was also told it was probably the drain plug from the AC. Anyone know where to find the schematics for this car for free?

The drain tube for the a/c is probably plugged. if you can find the tube where it comes out under the hood,usually on the passenger side low on the firewall. Use a piece of wire and clean it out. This should solve your problem.

Where are the timing marks on a 2002 Dodge Stratus 3.0 engine?
They're behind the timing gears, right side is on the edge of the valve cover and the left side you can seeit if you have covers off.
and on the gears theres a small arrow to line up marks.
Mark the timing belt before taking it off for reference later unless it broke then ignore that. I've done a couple of these and they suck.

Sunroof and courtesy light not working in 2002 dodge status RT coupe.
when things stop working I check fuses first.
wires usually have connectors on them so removing then replacing the connector would be a better fix. on/off not new connector
A wire may have become disconnected while working in the area.
They are probably under the headliner.

Where is ecm on 2002 dodge stratus 2.4 l coupe
The ECM and TCM are next to each other. Looking at the driver side strut tower under the hood, you should be able to see both of them next to each other. Shouldn't be too hard to find since it has hundreds of wires going to it. The ECM is the larger of the two.

Starter out in my 2002 dodge stratus where is it locat
If its a 4 cyl, its right below the computer on the driver side when you open the hood. Just behind the radiator. It attaches to the transmission bellhousing. On a V6, not sure but probably close to 4 cyl location. Not too bad to replace on a 4.

The thermostat is located at the upper radiator hose end of the engine. The hose will connect to a housing that will have to be removed in order to change the thermostat.
While you have the thermostat housing removed, make sure you flush the old coolant out and replace with new.
