i recently bought my first corrado, the first day of driving it it overheated but only after 30miles! i let it cool then replaced with water. got it home nice and steady and was ok stayed at 95-100 degrees, once home disconnected the bottom hose and flushed the system and once again ran ok for about 20 or so miles put my foot down then overheated again, when i say overheated i mean doing a great wee on the floor it was bouncing hot, thought about a low temp therm switch, oh and fan comes on once i turn the engine off so bit too late really, please help!!!!

My 91 vw corrado cooling fan started to run after car is turned off and not when car is running. only after key is off. just started this tonight. i pull the fuse box relay and put it back it stays off....

Sounds like your fan relay needs to be changed. It is freezing in the on position when you turn your car off. Change the relay. Hope this helps, James Booth. PLEASE RATE THIS!!! :)

does it sound like there is any compression. remove cover on the right side that covers t-belt see if belt might have broken. if cooling system failed could have blow fuse for cooling fans. causing overheating.
