2001 cherokee laredo cigar lighter and power outlet not working. blown fuses replaced, still not working. power outlet fuse i pdc checked and good. could cigar lighter relay be bad?

No , can't be the relay , by looking at a wiring diagram the power outlet has different supply voltage . Fuse 1 25 amp is for power outlet an cigar lighter use's fuse # 2 25 amp. Free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free-tsb/ Enter vehicle info. year , make , model an engine size. Under system click on interior & driver amenity, then under subsystem click on cigar lighter . Click the search button , then the blue link. Looking at the diagram you will see they have different fuse's. Something up stream from there is blown . Need to look at electrical distribution diagrams. Go back to system an click on electrical distribution then under subsystem click on power distribution . Click the search button then the blue link. Scroll down to the # 6 diagram . You will see fuse # 4 50 amp location is under hood fuse box . Check that fuse .

2001 Cherokee Sport. Why doesn't the cigar lighter work?

My info shows a separate power outlet, will that work for your charger?

At the cigar lighter, red wire is voltage and black wire is ground. You have to have both or it won't work.

Are a 1993 4.0 liter high output 2 wheel drive Jeep Grand Cherokee countries have the same block as a 1990 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4 wheel drive it also has the 4.0 liter engine but it is not the high...

the first grand cherokee laredo was in 1992 . it was all jeep sports back then, the blocks are all the same .you will need to use some of the sensors from the old motor, the distributor and oil sending unit and temp sensor. will be no problem. if I can put a ford ranger motor in a mercury sable your swap is easier

93 jeep cherokee no back-up light or turn signals all bulbs are good replaced flasher fuses are good all other lights working fine

Possibile bad ground. Get a jumper wire and attach it to a good clean piece of metal and see if it helps. Bad bulb sockets are common also, but I can't see 4 sockets going bad at the same time. there should be a common colored wire coming from all the bulb sockets in a given tailight. This will be the ground. Skin some insulation off this wire and ground it and see if your problem doesn't go away.

I have a 1992 Jeep Cherokee Laredo, and it has a few issues. 1. When the car is turned off, then started, the radio and clock will be reset entirely, and i have no clue why. 2. Heater & A/C controls...

1. your radio and clock are not wired at the right place in the fuse box. connect to fuse where power is present when the key is turned off
2. for your heating, check fuses first than relays
