I have a 2001 oldsmobile silhouette and I need to change the spark plugs I see the three up front but I am not sure how to get to the three in the back?

Maybe you have head gaskets problem the eassy way is remube the spark plugs if you see 1or more spark plug .whith no carbon or very clean.you need the head waskets

The easiest way is to remove the wiper module, remove the upper front engine mount struts and use a ratcheting tie-down strap to pull with and rotate the engine forward so you have room to reach over the top of the engine.
You are now gaining an understanding of why a professional shop wants about 2-1/2 hours of labor time to screw in 6 little spark plugs. Most people do no have a clue...they just fuss about the price! After all...ANYBODY can unscrew a spark plug!!! :-)

you need it scanned and the code will tell you which cylinder has the problem. p0303= #3 p0305 = #5 ect. then verify spark, fuel and compression Flashing is BAD you will damage the cat converter.

After removing the boot, use a combination of extensions and universal joints with your ratchet wrench

u have 2 bad coils

take the two motor mounts off the front of the van this will allow u to get to the back 3 plugs or u can crawl underneath where the exhaust comes down at there is enough room to do it that way also

it is very easy you unscrew the sensor from the housing and then follow the wiring and unplug it from there.

The even numbers are at the front of the car.
