It sounds like the horn relay is operating but the horn is not getting any power to it. Check where the wiring is attached to the horn contacts for tightness and security. You could test the horn itself by running a jumper wire direct from the battery to the horn contact. If no noise replace horn unit. If jumper wire works, then the relay should be replaced. .

Sounds like the horn relay is clicking, trying to send current to the horn, but the horn is probably no good, burned out. Test the horn with direct current to see if it's good or bad.

1995 accord horn not working.hear horn relay clicking but no current at horns when checked with test light. bad horn relay?

Check your wiring diagram and check for power coming out of the horn relay. Suspect a bad relay.

I have a 2001 stratus and the horn doesn't work. When I press the horn I hear a clicking sound. The fuse is OK, what's the problem

The clicking sound you are hearing is the horn relay engaging trying to supply power to your horn. Most likely horn itself needs to be replaced. Locate horn underneath in front near grill. With test light check for ground & with someone pushing on horn switch, check for positive. If you have good ground & power when pushing on horn switch need to replace horn.

My horn does not work how do I fix

The horn is a really simple circut that is to say ther are not very many parts to it. The horns (there ar two), the horn button, a relay, and a fuse. Find and check the fuse first. If it's good, see if you can hear the relay click when you push the horn button (key on engine off) The click is not very loud so you have to find a quiet place to hear it. If you can hear the click the horns are probably bad, if not then probably the relay. If you want to skip ahead and check the horns first, take a few feet of some kind of wire and run it from the battery to the horns. The button is just a grounding switch, it grounds the relay.

My horn does not work anymore. Please help

things to check. fuse, horn relay, horn button and then the horn itself. by pressing on the horn button with the car off you should hear a click everytime you press the button. that would be the relay working. if you hear this then either the horn itself is bad or disconnected.

I just bought a 2000 Saturn SL 4-dr sedan. It's in great shape, but the horn doesn't work and the dashboard light don't work. Is this a simple fix with replacing the fuses or dash light or is it a little...

Check fuse for horn and for dash lights. If the interior lights work then suspect dimmer switch for the dash lights. If you press the horn button do you hear a click under the hood or inside the car? If you do not then the fuse is blown and if the fuse is good then the relay may be suspected bad. If the fuse is good and the relay clicks then suspect the horn to be bad. If fuse is blown and you put a new one in and you push the horn and the fuse blows again, then disconnect the horn before replacing the fuse again. Then push the horn button and see if you hear the relay click if you hear a click the the horn is bad or wiring butmost likely the horn. If you have the horn unplugged and the fuse is good and you push thee horn button and no relay click suspect the horn button to be bad. Hope this helps.

I have a 89 golf, horn doesn't work but it makes a clicking noise when the horn button is pushed any ideas to get it to work?

Your horn buzzer is either broken, or it is not getting power. The click you hear is the horn relay. It is good that you can hear it.

To diagnose the problem, locate the horn module. It should be behind the grill in the front of the car. Remove the power wire. Get an assistant to press the horn button while you measure voltage in the connector. If you have voltage, replace the horn. If not, find out why there is no voltage. It could be a blown horn fuse or a broken wire. Good luck.

1996 Saturn SL. Horn doesnt work. Fuse is ok. Can't find horn under hood.

it is behind bumper drivers side. I believe there is a relay in the horn, making the horn unique and origional replacement required. if it has three wires in it then it has built in relay.

Horn no is working. The horn is weel but nothing happen push horn button.

If you hear a click the power is working the relay. If no click under dash, possibly bad fuse or relay. If you hear relay, test horn. Unplug horn and run a 12V jumper to see if it beeps. If it doesn't, try to redo the ground and then test. Then if that doesn't work, replace horn.
