The actual engine would be close to the same if the year and engine size are. It would depend on the difference in year and size for the components. A salvage yard would be able to tell you for sure.
i am assumming that your engine is a 5.0 or a 5.7 liter engine.this is the most common used in the chevy pickup.this means "if" it has a distributor it will be located at the rear of the engine.BUT it could also be "dis" ignition or "cop" type ignition. dis is distributorless and cop is coil on plug type ignition
Hello, it seems that you have intake gaskets leaking. I'll bet you have the vortec 350. This is a common problem with the vortec, Gm uses plastic intake gaskets and they blow out over time usually to the externally but yours is internally.It is a pretty easy fix for the average mechanic to do.
