If it's fuse 36, it should have a 15 amp fuse.
Do not confuse this fuse with the radio backup fuse, which is 7.5 amps but runs a lot of other circuits.
Put in a 15 amp fuse.
If it burns, the lighter may have a short.

I had exactly same problem. I could not use my GPS or charge my cell phone.
In front of the driver sit, there are actually 2 fuse boxes. You probably found the first one. A second one is located above well hidden. Once you find it, you'll find the fuse you are looking for.

My cd player keeps turning on and off. and dash clock light keeps dimming in and out and wont keep the time.

You have a loose wire. Will require removing the radio to get to the wire that keeps constant power to the radio ,,,this allows the clock to keep time. An interuption in this power source equal reseting the clock. Good luck

Why does my clock and radio reset everytime i shut my car off

You should have two wires going to radio for power. One all of the time for the memory and clock, and one that gets power with the vehicle key on. Sounds like the power all of the time wire is not connected, or possibly not working.

Battery ran down.now radio/clock don't work. flashes Error.can this be reset?

try taking the radio out and looking on the top for the parts number. call Honda and tell them what is going on and they will give you a 4 digit code that will reset the radio. i had the same problem with my 05 civic, did that and it worked for me.

Lights are dim in the clock and cd panel

The circuit board in your radio has fried. This circuit board powers not only the radio but also the lights for all of climate controls. Honda is aware of the problem and has extended the warranty on the stereo to 107K miles. Your local Honda dealership can get the replacement circuit board that also has modified resistor placement to eliminate this from happening in the future.

How do I set the clock in my 2005 accord

Hold down the SCAN and SOUND buttons, located above the sound system power button, until time starts flashing. Underneath the CD Changer buttons 4, 5, and 6 are little letters 'H', 'M', and 'R'. Use those buttons to change the time. Press SCAN and SOUND to complete the time change.
