Windscreen wiper not working

Hi i have a Mitsubishi Colt 1.3glx 1996 P reg.
The windscreen wipers seem to have gone on the blink. The front only works on normal or high speed and not intermittent. The rear does not work at all and nor dor the front or rear washers.. Fuse seems ok..

mine has gone the same and also water wont come out either. Wipers only work on normal (front only) back occasionally for one wipe if i keep messing with the stick. Have you found out the cause yet? thank (mine is 1996 colt)

Check the switch on the steering usualy it becomes faulty after a while and also your window washers could be blocked but try turning it on if you do not hear a buzzing sound the motors needs to be replaced.

Wipers worked one turn then stopped

may have broken bushing in one of the arms in the wiper linkage, remove the cowl and take a look. most part stores sell replacement bushings start there good luck.

Front windscreen wiper wont stop why its a mitsubishi lancer evo4 i was touching the windscreen washer pump which had ceased working wipers came on and wont stop have to take the fuse out to stop them

Most cars turn on the wipers when the washer pump is turned on. Look for a stuck switch or relay in the washer circuit. It seems that the wipers think that the washer is on.

just turn of the wiper switch turn off the key 30 sec later, move the wiper arm to the park position, then remove the caps plastic caps at the start off the wiper arm ( if fitted) and then tigthen the nut there and that should fi it

there is a 15 amp fuse for the rear wiper under the bonnet check this, also i think the accent has a seperste switch in the dashboard for the rear wiper like th hyundai coupe.
