How do i install new molded carpet in my 1993 ford probe? i dont know where to cut it or whether i should take out the center console.

best to go to ford dealer and get a copy of the wiring circuit , the only sure way i know, unless you have a work shop manual.

1) see the diagram and test
2) see the following test, for better diagnosis.
3) test the fuse see the diagram

ran it without oil stoped shut it off now it wont start it cranks all day but dont start

it should be in the trunk on the passenger side wall of the car you may have to pull back the carpet

First.Check for damaged or disconected vac. hose to sensors than pull and check T P S plug.Ypur off idle condition sounds like a code free situation and should be solved by one of the two sugestions offered.

If you can see the cut wires then simply join the same color coordinating wires with a crimping style wire connector that you can purchase from WalMart or any auto parts store. Make sure and strip the plastic casing around the wires on both ends before using the wire connector. After the connector has been crimped to both wires, wrap electrical tape around the connector to seal off from water.

the best way to do it is take the center console out and the seats so you can properly weld in new floors .. unless your going to just put some tin over them if your going to do this you dont have to remove the console just the seats so you can get the carpet up to place the tin in place..

the 93+ probe's (2nd generation) DO NOT have an access panel under the seats, or anywhere. only the 89-92 probe's did (1st generation) To gain access to the fuel pump, you have to drop the gas tank. or get handy with a cutter, and hope you dont blow yourself up.

is the model with the V6 mazda motor, if so it can be a bit difficult if you have little mechanical experience, but it is doable without removing the motor or transmission. we would allow 3 hours to complete the whole job.
