2007 ford taurus air bag light on after replacing stereo

The CD changer option is similar to the single-disc player. The CD changer has the ability to toggle between the stereo and the multi-disc changer. In the 2007 Ford Taurus, the CD changer is located either in the vehicle's trunk or in the center console and has a magazine that can hold up to six CDs.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have the same exact problem as the person who posted the following, which is so well written that I couldn't improve upon it: The 6 CD changer in the trunk of my 1999 Ford Taurus SE stopped working all...

this sounds like the belt in the changer has broken, this belt operates the tray that hold the magazine, so its trying to eject it but is not moving upward also this belt spins the discs, you will need to remove the unit and had a belt out in it, ive had a couple of these repaired it cost about 100.00 dollars, at an audio repair shop also had one that the carriage was bad. hope this helps.

98 ford taurus wgn se door ajar light wont go out

The switches that activates the door ajar are located on the body frame. For front doors try looking between the hinges, on the frame of the body cavity. Might have a rubber grommet around it. On the back doors, look on the frame of the body cavity near the hinges.

...where is the **** cd changer/player in my taurus 1998 lx?

that cd button is for an external changer that you must install yourself. once you install the the changer then all you have to do is press that button and through the circuit you can get your cd music.in order to install the changer you have to purchase a link cable to the the vehicle from the changer. you will not have to cut or splic any wires at all get the connector cable and the changer and once installed your all set. the plug in for the changer is in the trunk of the vehicle. now you will not have access to insert the cds while driving because that is not how the system works in a conventional sense like a cd stereo does

2003 ford taurus

check the fuse 1st, but chances are the changer is defective and will have to sent out, these changers are really prone to this problem. Even if the fuse is blown what made it blow? most likely a short in the changer.
