SOURCE: radio wiring colours for fiesta 2000

if you are looking to put a new stero in the best thing to do is go to radio shack or the parts house and spend 5 or 10 dollars and get a wiring adapter. You can wire the thing in your house all the colors are the same and then you just walk out to your car plug it in and go. It is worth the money it is pretty cheap anyway.

SOURCE: speaker wiring

The speaker wires are located in a plug connected to the rear of your old radio; purchase a conversion socket kit from an auto parts store to connect your new radio

I want to run new speaker wires to different locations but the speaker hook up on back needs a plug & wont allow me to just strip the wire & plug the wire in, can I get an adapter ?

Is the socket White or red - is it rca look at link below

https://www.lifewire.com/rca-cable-definition-1082146

google RCA plug

You may want to solder the negative of the wire to the metal back part of the RCA plug .
You may need to buy a soldering iron and lead solder.
Depands on the plug type you may find one that just scres the wires on.

is it 3.5 mm stereo socket ?
is it 3.5 mm mono socket ?

There are other types of plug types see

Should I buy honda accord sport or ford fiesta st?

Both good cars, Hondas last far longer. Got a 2006 FRV that has done 175000 miles, 2.2 diesel and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, it is not mint but is excellent. Aford would not last as long and not be as reliable. Honda is a far better c r. Last car was a mondeo, nice car but was already falling to bits at 75000 miles when we sold it.

Which wires are perm infant live feeds to the rear of a nissan qashqai? Want to wire up a fused 12 volt outlet in the boot

one permanent live wire to the boot is the boot light wire . You will have to check the current requirement of the plug as it is only a light wire for the bulb.
consider running a fused line from the battery if you want permanent heavy current draw to run items like a car fridge.

We have a motorhome and were getting engine noise through speaker

ok,,,this is an easy one to fix,,,
its a cracking or screaming sound ,,,right?
its off the car spark plugs and from the plug leads,,,
you havent fitted any serpresors to the plug leads
you can do one of two things here buy new plug leads plus the coial lead but they must be suprested leads,,,or just buy the suprested caps and fit them yourself,,,its best to buy new leads,,,when you fit them only pull one lead off at a time and fit the new lead to the one you pulled off that way you cant get in a mix up,, its very unlikely the alternator will cause a buzzing but they can at times,,,check that the radio ariel is earthed to the car body,,,it must be earthed!
