Ford fiesta not running great

I hav a 98 fiesta which has a big miss in it just as u go 2 take of and it wnt take the boot properly sumtimes.i tryed an airflow meter which didnt cure it.if u connect an airflow meter it will hardly run at all but if u disconect it it runs a bit better but still has a big miss in it.

You must change the spark plugs and check the coil boots for cracks the miss is the + jumping to ground from a cracked plug or bad plug boot or ignition wires which ever you have

sounds as if the lock is seized probably caused by lack of use as the fiesta has a remote opener on the dash try lifting the boot and spray with wd40 into the lock and leave over night in the upright position take the bulb out the boot light aswell to save draining the battery

5.9 rt running hot did a flush,new thermo,new hoses,runs great but still tries to run hot on me any ideas?
is it full of coolant? thers a bleeder bolt usually high sumtimes on top wher your rad hose connects, or top of the waterpump. usually a bolt looks like it does nothing. let all the air out. or is your cooling fan working properly. sumtimes clutch goes and doesnt blow as much air as it needs

yes it is one big nut, however it looks like 4 individual nuts due to the fact that they are a thinly stacked layer or thin nuts held together by what you called the tab washer............only way to replace is to get a new one from ford........
