Well i dont know what year is but the crank position sensor is locate it behind crank pulley in order to have acces to the sensor you ne to remove the pulley first. Note when the crank sensor is bad there should be no fire at your sparks. before keep spending more money dont know if you checked for gas coming to the engine.

My crankshaft sensor went bad and my O8 infiniti G35X what does that mean when it goes bad is that a big problem I will have to get fixed soon?

when a crank sensor goes bad it can make the motor not run right or shut down this tells the ecm the postion of the crank and works in junction with the cam postion sensor as well as if the crank sensor has a crack in it it could over heat the sensor and shut down the motor. they are usually in expesive to purchase a crank sensor and fairly simple to change

2001 ford taurus 3.0 ohv cam shaft sencor location

The single and double overhead cam engines take different sensors - it should be under a wiring harness close to the throttle cable.
Did you check the computer for trouble codes ?

P1320 service code on 2000 nissan maxima & #5 cylinder misfire or #6 cylinder misfire

2000 maxima are famous for having bad coils - those cost about $350 if you dealer isn't trying to rip you off (otherwise they will charge $600). I also read you can get an aftermarket coil at Autozone.

Code p1345 is the crankshaft variation learn. You need to get the crankshaft variation learn done for the code to clear. You will need a scan tool. This should take care of the check engine light.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Not starting

Make sure your getting spark to the plugs. It must be a good hot spark.
If that's okay then you might have a timing problem with the crank and cam. (Jumped time).
You'll need to check the timing marks on the crank and cam timing gears to make sure they didn't jump out of time.
Check for any vacuum leaks as well.

1993 grand am no spark

You said you changed the ecm module, is that the ecm or the ignition module. Do you have access to a scanner to check cranking rpm? That way you can test the new crank sensor and the wiring and the ignition module.

Possible o2 sensor 2002 GMC Onvoy

O2 sensors indicate unburned oxygen in the exhaust sysytem. Bad O2 sensors causes fuel mixture to run rich. It causes fuel consumption and your emmissions test will not pass. Check for vacuum leaks check the manifold.check for a misfiring cylinder, a burned exhaust valve that is leaking compression. replace the O2 sensor or sensors. Some cars have 2 . One for the intake another for the out take. If it reads a code for the Map sensor along with the O2. It is better ifyou replace both sensors. But I think that the problem lies in the oxygen sensor or sensors. Pleae vote my answer if this helps.

Car stals out

I don't know if this will help but I had the same problem on a 1993 Intrepid. It turned out that the problem was a broken wire at the connector to the cam sensor. The way I found it was to have someone crank the engine while I moved the cable to the sensor and I could make the engine start and stop as I wiggled the cable.
