When I try to start the van, it's a 1985 dodge ram wagen. Anyway I try to start it and I get nothing. The lights work, the radio works, but I get nothing from it when I try to start it. Replaced the starter relay thinking that might be it and still nothing! And ideas?

Try boosting the van.If that works then you either need to clean the cables and battery posts or you need a battery. If boosting it does not work then you may need a starter or the cables to it have came loose, also the engine ground could be the culprit,if this is true then put your booster cables in this configuration;positive to positive and negative from the boosting cars negative post to your engine's block, find a good clean grounding point on the block and hook the clamp there. If the van starts then clean the factory ground point, replace the cable end,or replace the cable.Let me know if none of this info helps and i will give you more things to try.

Okay been out trying some of those things. The battery posts are pretty clean, the clamps are pretty new too, battery is half charged.

Wondering though, would the solenoid cause any problems with it to where it wouldn't start? Was just checking the starter cables and they all seem to be fine, a little tight if anything but pretty clean.

Last thing to try it jumping it, kinda hard to do cause of where it is sitting, need longer jumper cables! haha.

I have a 1992 Dodge Ram van and nothing will come on, no lights or anything. The starter will not work or anything else. What is the problem?

Start with the basics. Does the vehicle unlock with the remote? Does the A/C and radio work? Do you get the usual lights on the dash when you turn the key to the second position? Do you get ANY noises when you turn the key to crank the engine?
If your not getting dash lights or nothing at all from the starter the first thing you check is the battery. A battery needs somewhere between 12.6 and 13.4 volts to work at its best. Check what voltage is there and work on from that.
If you have full voltage listen to the car as you turn the key. That will give clues as to what the reason could be for the power loss.

I have a cd/radio player from a 200 dodge van, and I want to put it in my 1998 Ram truck ?

If the radios do not have the same connections on them, you can buy a wiring harness from a car stereo dealer in your area. If you are lucky, the radios will have the same connectors, and the one radio will just plug into the other vehicle and work fine. cd-radio-player-from-200-dodge-van-want-21syibu3fgwpdxocjnkpw0ib-3-0.jpg cd-radio-player-from-200-dodge-van-want-21syibu3fgwpdxocjnkpw0ib-3-1.jpg cd-radio-player-from-200-dodge-van-want-21syibu3fgwpdxocjnkpw0ib-3-2.jpg

I have a 1985 Dodge Van 1000 3/4 ton Van both of my windows are not working and all my fuses are good what might be the problem?

Either the master window switch on the drivers side door is faulty, or there is a broken wire(s) most likey at the wire connector to the master window switch, or a broken wire inside of the weather boot that runs between the driver side door and the body of the vehicle. If you find any broken wires they should be soldered back together well, and do not use wire connectors.
