What are some issues to look for that would cause car not to move in any gear, but you can feel it wants to go when raising rpms. Could this be the trans is gone or something minor. Helping a friend and haven't had experience working on an eclipse. The car is a automatic.

Lets assume the park brake is off. If you put it in gear, forward or reverse and the engine revs but care doesn't move, you are either very low on automatic transmission fluid or the transmission is burned up. Check the fluid level. If normal smell the fluid. If it smells burned, there is no doubt that the transmission is burned up.

Being a friends car this is what he explained to me. In car with it running, no park brake, put car in to drive, nothing, car just revs up, tried reverse same thing happens in all gears. The fluid smells fine. Thanks for the info

What would cause my 05 GMC ENVOY TRANSMISSION TO NOT WANT TO CHANGE GEARS ALSO THE RPMS REV HIGH AND TRUCK WONT HO OVER 60 MILES PER HOUR WHAT CAN BEVTHE PROBLEM?

There could be several issues that could cause your GMC Envoy's transmission to not shift gears properly and the RPMs to rev high. Here are a few potential problems that you may want to consider:
  1. Low transmission fluid: If the transmission fluid is low, it could cause problems with the shifting mechanism. You'll want to check the transmission fluid level and add more if needed.
  2. Faulty shift solenoid: The shift solenoid is responsible for directing transmission fluid to the appropriate gear. If the solenoid is faulty, it could cause shifting problems.
  3. Worn transmission bands or gears: If the transmission bands or gears are worn, it could cause the transmission to not shift properly and the RPMs to rev high.
  4. Clogged transmission filter: A clogged transmission filter can restrict the flow of transmission fluid, causing shifting issues.
  5. Faulty transmission control module (TCM): The TCM is responsible for controlling the transmission. If it's not functioning properly, it could cause shifting problems.
I would recommend having a mechanic diagnose and fix the problem for you. It's important to address transmission issues promptly, as they can lead to further damage if left unchecked.

Car stalls at low rpms in gear. vacuum hose possible problem?

There are several potential causes for a car stalling at low RPMs in gear, and a vacuum hose problem is one possibility. Here are some other things to consider:

Fuel delivery issue: If the car is not getting enough fuel, it may stall at low RPMs. This could be due to a faulty fuel pump, a clogged fuel filter, or a problem with the fuel pressure regulator.

Ignition problem: If the car is not receiving sufficient spark at the spark plugs, it may stall at low RPMs. This could be caused by a faulty ignition system, such as a failing ignition coil or a damaged spark plug wire.

Clogged air filter: If the air filter is clogged, it can restrict the flow of air to the engine, which can cause the car to stall at low RPMs.

Throttle body issue: If the throttle body is dirty or malfunctioning, it can cause the car to stall at low RPMs.

Mass airflow sensor problem: The mass airflow sensor measures the amount of air entering the engine and sends this information to the engine control unit (ECU). If the sensor is not working properly, it can cause the car to stall at low RPMs.

To determine the cause of the problem, you may need to have the car inspected by a mechanic. They will be able to diagnose the issue and recommend the appropriate repair. In the case of a vacuum hose problem, the mechanic will check for any leaks or damage to the hose and replace it if necessary.

Issue with my 2008 Adly Thunder Bike 150cc

People this is a scooter. The problem is that your idle screw on the Carb needs adjustment. The idle screw can be adjusted with a Philips screw driver. Follow your throttle cable to the carb. You'll see a screw that pushes a pulley down raising your rpms. This will lower your idle causing the rpms to drop and since your scooter transmission is propelled my higher RPMs the bike will stop thrusting you forward when you stop at red lights.

Car is in drive but wont excellerate,

What do you mean by "wont accelerate"? Wont move or the RPMs do not raise. If it is that the car feels like it is in neutral, the torque converter is a likely cause. first check your transmission fluid while it is running and look for level and color. If there is another symptom, please let me know so I can better help.
