Testimonial: "Thanks for the advice. I looked in my owner's manual to find out. The rear underseat fuse box doesn't say. I thought it was under the hood/ or dash"

The lighting control module is a programmable module on this vehicle. It will take a scanner capable of programming modules. The lighting control module is located under the dash on the drivers side. It is not too hard to replace, except for the programming. You can not program the module without it being in the car either.
1. depress retainer
2. remove screws
3. Lighting control module

2004 nissan maxima fog light fuse location want to check the fuse fog lights not working

System Description EKS0058X Control of the fog lamps is dependent upon the position of the combination switch (lighting switch). The lighting switch must be in the 2ND position or AUTO position (LOW beam is ON) for front fog lamp operation. When the lighting switch is placed in the fog lamp position the BCM (body control module) receives input signal requesting the fog lamps to illuminate. When the headlamps are illuminated, this input signal is communicated to the IPDM E/R (intelligent power distribution module engine room) across the CAN communication lines. The central processing unit of the IPDM E/R controls the front fog lamp relay coil. When activated, this relay directs power to the front fog lamps. OUTLINE Power is supplied at all times ? through 15A fuse [No. 43, located in the IPDM E/R (intelligent power distribution module engine room)] ? to front fog lamp relay, located in the IPDM E/R (intelligent power distribution module engine room) ? through 15A fuse [No. 34, located in the IPDM E/R (intelligent power distribution module engine room)] ? to CPU (central processing unit) in the IPDM E/R (intelligent power distribution module engine room). Power is also supplied at all times ? through 50A fusible link (letter f , located in the fuse and fusible link box) ? to BCM (body control module) terminal 55 ? through 10A fuse [No. 21, located in the fuse block (J/B)] ? to BCM (body control module) terminal 42. When the ignition switch is in ON or START position, power is supplied ? to ignition relay, located in the IPDM E/R (intelligent power distribution module engine room) ? through 10A fuse [No. 1 located in the fuse block (J/B)] ? to BCM (body control module) terminal 38. When the ignition switch is in ACC or ON position, power is supplied

Where is the fuse for the head lights located on a 04 Nissan Maxima

System Description EKS005BP Control of the headlamp system operation is dependent upon the position of the combination switch (lighting switch). When the lighting switch is placed in the 2ND position, the BCM (body control module) receives input signal requesting the headlamps (and tail lamps) illuminate. This input signal is communicated to the IPDM E/ R (intelligent power distribution module engine room) across the CAN communication lines. The central processing unit of the IPDM E/R controls the headlamp high and headlamp low relay coils. These relays, when energized, direct power to the respective headlamps, which then illuminate. If voltage is applied to a high beam solenoid, the bulb shade will move and a high beam and a low beam are changed. OUTLINE Power is supplied at all times ? to headlamp high relay, located in the IPDM E/R (intelligent power distribution module engine room), and ? to headlamp low relay, located in the IPDM E/R (intelligent power distribution module engine room), and ? to ignition relay, located in the IPDM E/R (intelligent power distribution module engine room), and ? through 15A fuse [No. 34 located in the IPDM E/R (intelligent power distribution module engine room)] ? to CPU (central processing unit) in the IPDM E/R (intelligent power distribution module engine room) ? through 50A fusible link (letter f , located in the fuse and fusible link box) ? to BCM (body control module) terminal 55 ? through 10A fuse [No. 21 located in the IPDM E/R (intelligent power distribution module engine room)] ? to BCM (body control module) terminal 42 ? through 10A fuse [No. 19, located in the fuse block (J/B)] ? to combination meter terminal 24. With the ignition switch in the ON or START position, power is supplied ? to ignition relay, located in the IPDM E/R (intelligent power distribution module engine room)

So I just got done with the bcm and I guess its the speed sensor. But does that have anything to do with the lights not comming on?

Take a look at below lfor lights control modules on your vehicle

Where is the lighting control module located on 2000 Lincoln LS? My left side tail lights are out. The local dealer troubleshot it to the lighting control module, but want $900.00 to fix it. I would like to remove it and get the part number off of it so I can order it.

Best Answer: The 2000 Lincoln LS does not have a lighting control module, the lighting functions are controlled by several modules that communicate with each other over the SCP network. These modules include the instrument cluster, front electronic module, rear electronic module, daytime running lamp module and the drivers door module. Considering your taillights are out I am assuming that the dealer determined that the REM (rear electronic module) is bad, this module is located in the trunk. Remove the carpet lining on the passenger side of the trunk, the module is bolted inside the quarter panel. Now for the bad part, this module is configured for the vehicle that it's installed into, this means you will not be able to grab one and put it in, the data from the original needs to be uploaded prior to removing the module and then it is downloaded into the replacement module. Other then a Ford or Lincoln dealer I doubt you will be able to find anyone that has the equipment to program the new module, sorry.

Lighting control module

Hi Aleon, I'm glad to help!

The module that controls the lighting on your Concorde is called the BCM which stands for "Body Control Module" and its located right on the left side of the dash as you sit in the seat. It mounts on the bracket that holds the dash to the left kick panel. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Aleon.

Location for the head light control module

The LCM or lighting control module is located under the dash to the right of the steering wheel, first you need to remove the hush panel under the knee brace, then there are 2 screws the hold it to a bracket. Unplug the 4 connectors towards the back and then slide it out and replace.

Brake Light Control Module

91 Honda Accord has 2 separate tail lights on each side(total of 4 pieces). My problem stemmed from a faulty control module on the right hand side(passenger side). The module in question is located inside the smaller of the 2 tail light sections. In order to change the module you have to remove the tail light. There are 4 nuts holding in the taillight section and 2 phillips head screws holding the module in. The module on this side is 6 pin plug in. The one on the drivers side is a 5 pin plug in. Whole effort takes about 45 minutes. It is strictly plug and play.

No high beam headlights 1996 crown victoria

does the flash to pass function work? That uses high beam bulbs.

If yes, I would bet $100 it's the lighting control module. Very expensive. @ $500. Can buy for $250 @ tascafordparts.com.

Sometimes on Ebay for cheap price.

--------------------------------
Lighting Control Module Principles of Operation
NOTE: Due to varying wattage ratings and resulting current draw, certain aftermarket headlamp bulbs may cause the lighting control module (LCM) to shut down the short circuit protection, resulting in the low beams becoming inoperative. Verify that the headlamp bulbs meet Ford specifications.
The lighting control module (LCM) receives inputs from the following:
  • headlamp switch
  • multifunction switch
  • photocell and amplifier
Depending on the inputs received, the LCM will command the headlamps on or off.

Power is supplied to the headlamps through lighting control module Circuit 502 (GY) and circuit protection C in the fuse junction panel. Ground is provided to the headlamp bulb and retainer (13N021) through Circuit 57 (BK).

The lighting control module is located under the instrument panel, to the right of the steering column, under the lower steering column cover.

Removal and Installation
  1. Open hood. Disconnect battery ground cable (14301).
  1. Disengage three pushpins and remove lower driver side intrument panel (04320) finish panel.
  1. Locate lighting control module above accelerator pedal.
  1. Disconnect bottom two eletrical connectors from lighting control module.
  1. Remove two screws retaining LCM to bracket and unclip from bracket.
  1. Remove lighting control module from bracket and disconnect two remaining electrical connectors.
  1. To install, reverse Removal procedure. Check lighting control module for proper operation.
---------------------------------

the module is about 6 inches lng and 4 inches wide and has 3 wire connectors.
