Have got serviced my Hundai Santro Car regn No PB65D 3452 on 09.09.10 at your authorize service centre Sunrise Hundai, Plot No.376, Patparganj Industrial Area, Delhi - 110092,I drive the vehicle around 8Kms and found that engine got hot at extreme hot condition and coollant have flown out from the tank, Then I stopped the vehicle and call the Sunrise service mechanic at site. The mechanic come after one and half hour and inform that engine got heated as radiator fan was not working as the radiator connector was not plugged to the power. They plugged in the radiator fan, put some water in coolant tank and engine got cool. This is just carelessness of the service centre and could have damaged the engine due to the same. Due to all this episode I lot my valuable time of two hours and I had to caccel my important business appointment. This complaint must be treated very seriously and give me the feedback urgently.Regard

hi after reading your problem i gather the water pump blew you lost water the car overheated you say it had a brand new cylinder head and the cars still losing water and causing it to overheat and the garage say its the same problem as before yet they won,t do the job because it needs a bottom end ;engine block] so why when they had the head off was this not checked for level and signs of cracking . to be fair to the garage it something that is often overlooked . but that said if this is the problem that occured after three days of buying you are entitled to have the work gaurenteed for 12 months unless otherwise stated i can see there warrenty company won,t want to pay for it as they already paid the garage to do the job [CORRECTLY] the garage had no right to sell a faulty car in the first place and secondly they have been paid by your warrenty company to repair it it is not the warrentys companys fault the garage didnt do what was required in the first place but its not yours either so i would read what your warrenty agreement is and see if it states they won,t pay twice for the same job if not phone them up tell them the only reason you bought the car is because of the warrenty and it is not your fault the job was done properly in the first place and expect the car to be repaired as it should have been in the first place and its up to them and the garage to decide which one of them pays tell them what the garage mechanic said about its allright to drive and i have no idea what book tells you to ignore warning lights but should be shot then go to the garage tell them you want it putting right and you don,t care wheather its under warrenty or the garages oblgation not sell defective vechicles it is up to the garage to put it right or give you your money back if the problem arises within a reasonable amount of time usually seven days tell them to put it in writing if they refuse to do the job if they refuse get a wittness to this and tell them it needs puting right and will be taking to another garage getting it repaired and am giving you the first chance to repair it as stated in law then the bill will forwarded to them an have you took finance out on it or did you pay cash if finance phone them up tell them the problems your having and are going to stop payments until the car is fixed REMEMBER THE GARAGE DEPENDS ON THE FINANCE AND WARRENTY COMPANYS THEY WILL NOT WANT TROUBLE FROM THEM BECAUSE THEY WITH DRAW THERE BACKING THE GARAGE WON,T SELL THER CARS HENCE OUT OF WORK i bet your a newcastle supporter as well with this kind of luck if you let them get away with it your as daft as a brush find out where to report the garage i think it is the office of fair trading and if they won,t bend i will be amazed yates210456

BLEND DOOR STUCK OR BROKEN. NEEDS TO REMOVE DASH AND HEATER/EVAP CORE BOS TO REPAIR REPLACE.

SOURCE: engine overheating

CHECK TO SEE IF THE FAN RELAY IS FUNCTIONING BY SWAPPING IT WITH ANOTHER LIKE THE WIPER RELAY IF THEY ARE THE SAME. IF THE WIPERS WORK WITH THE A/C RELAY IN IT'S PLACE, THEN TRY REPLACING THE FAN FUSE. IF NONE OF THESE METHODS MAKE THE FAN TURN ON THEN REPLACE THE COOLANT TEMP SENSOR LOCATED NEAR THE UPPER RADIATOR HOSE INLET TOWARDS THE FRONT OF THE ENGINE. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU FIND THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM. LET ME KNOW. GOOD LUCK AND THANKS FOR USING FIX-YA.

have u bled the cooling system ?warm the car and cut the car off right before the fans come on ,let sit for 30-35 minutes,see if the coolant drops in res. if so repeat process untill coolant stops droping ,then drive car regularly if overheating stops ,but monitor it because it will drop somemore/there has been reports of new and rebuilt water pumps nt having correct propelar mounted on them/ backwards etc. if this helps let me know [email protected]

Dear Sir,
For user manual you will get it from hyundai but it is very long procedure, you have to visit any authorized service center and give application to them with sum amount of DD then they will send it to company then you will get it , may it will take months and more, better option is go to service center and request them to give santro manual book for a Xerox make a copy keep with you as a manual or you can go for new one.Thanks

Settings and the valve clearances

Valve Setting is usually done only by authorised service center of Hundai, because if you do the setting wrongly it may hurt the car performance. Kindly go to the car service center or you can get the data only by visiting any Hundai service center directly.

Check your engine oil and break oil weather it is in below low level or full, if it has in low level get an engine oil for your car module and pour it. otherwise go to authorized Hyundai service centre and check for it.

MILEAGE PROBLEM

possible valves were adjusted to tight. should not have had to adjust idle if it was too low there was a reason for this.possibl;e vacuum leak or something was unhooked or broke while servicing
