Are you getting any trouble codes? if you are maybe getting a P320 for crank sensor, try replacing the Cam Shaft Sensor, this 2 sensors communicate but the ECU registers it as a Crank Sensor code. Good Luck.

Do you have battery power at the coil when the key switch is on and when the engine is cranking ?
The rotor on the distributor is turning, right ?

96 bronco 5.8 cranks but no fire

Did you check primary voltage to ignition coil? red wire with lite green tracer, use a test lite to check voltage, goes hot with key on, circuit is fuse protected.

1993 jeep grand cherokee put new sencor on, new fuel pump, new relay, coil pack and still is'nt getting any fire from coil. it just keeps cranking.

Crank position sensor mosly likey. Seems like you wasted a lot of money on unnessary parts. Crank sensor should cost about $40

1999 S10 will crank over but will not start.

Check the air gap on the crank shaft sensor, if it does not have a .50 gap it will not send signal to fire coil pack repy to this post if you need more help.
