I have a 96 5.7 chevy suburban died no spark replaced the module and coil crankshaft sensor still wont start getting fuel and no communication from the computer thanks for any help

I0check your ignition fuse, and check the ign. coil for spark. Pull the coil wire off and see if you have spark from the coil.

If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure and fuel injector pulse. Any applicable trouble codes?

When it stops running have checked to see if there is spark at the spark plugs ? Does it have fuel pressure ? Does the check engine light come on ? You could have one of any number of thing's wrong ! Just with the ignition system alone you have ?€¢ Vehicle control module (VCM) ?€¢ Distributor ?€¢ Ignition coil driver module ?€¢ Ignition coil ?€¢ Crankshaft position (CKP) sensor

Lets start at the beginning.
Do you have spark to the plugs and normal fuel pressure ?

Tyhe first thing you shd always do on any car with starting problems is to check the spark on the plugs to localize the problem to either fuel or ignition problem. If u have an old spark plug lying around, remove one spark plug wire and attach it to the plug and lay it against the block. If it fires, when the engine turns, then it will most likely be fuel problem.
If it turns out to be fuel problem, you can prove it by using starting fluid carefully into the breather area.

it could be the fuel pump relay getting hot and shutting pump down. change or swap relays to find out. good-day !!

I WOULD CHECK IGNITION FUSE TO SEE IF POWER GOING TO COILS AND IGNITION MODULE. REPLACE DISTRIBUTOR CAP AND ROTOR.HAVE IGNITION TIMING CHECK.DISTRIBUTOR CAN SLOWLY WORK A LOOSE JUST A LITTLE TO THROW OFF IGNITION TIMING SO PLUGS WONT GET NO SPARK.

CHECK BATTERY VOLTAGE FIRST IT SHOULD BE 12.5 VOLTS.IF NOT REPLACE BATTERY HAVE ALTERNATOR CHECKED.IF BATTERY GOOD.HAVE VECHICLE SCAN FOR PCM PROBLEMS - CRANKSHAFT SENSOR PROBLEMS OR CAMSHAFT SENSOR PROBLEMS.IF ALL IS GOOD GET A SPARK TESTER AND FUEL PUMP PRESSURE GAUGE TESTER.IF GETTING NO SPARK PROBLEM COULD BE LOOSE BAT.POWER SUPPLY WIRES AT IGNITION COIL MODULE OR IGNITION MODULE FAULTY.IF FUEL PUMP NOT RUNNING CHECK FUSE ABD RELAY IF BOTH IS GOOD FUEL PUMP FAULTY.

the crankshaft position sensor controls spark and if faulty would give the symptons you have described you need to get this checked first

check the catalytic converter i had the same problem with my suburban and mine was a clogged converter.
