I think you will only be able to find on in the bone yards. I don't know if you checked online, but most junkyards have locator services.
Worst case, I would take the old pulley to a small machine shop and I am confident that they could repair anything that was wrong with it. They may charge you $ 100 or so, but that is much cheaper than a new car and the Hondas are great cars and last forever if taken care of.

Thanks jetfixr, you are correct, the boneyards somewhere in the lower 48 should have an 87 prelude, they certainly are not listed for sale very often. the machine shop route won't work unless I can find the old one, it decided to break off while going 65 on a limited access road and I walked the median to no avail. I'm hoping someone will read this string and actually know of one and hook me up.
