Takes about 10 minutes tops and no tools are needed. Slide 2 plastic hinge pins out from bottom of glove box door, pivot the door aside, pop the 3 plastic hook tabs off the bottom of the (white plastic) filter cover, pull the old filter out, and (carefully) slide the new filter in. Replace the filter cover and glove box door hinge pins and you are done.

Arrows should face down.

My Murano has 85K miles and I would like to keep it another 85K. What is the recommended maintenance schedule from 85K to 170K?

just do your oil changes spark plug changes airfilters ,fuel filter, maybe a radiator flush to keep antifreeze fresh..check ur fluids brake, powersteering, just check tranny oil. do not do transmission oil change unless you have shifting problem people tend to change things that arent necessary i believe you having timming chain never has to be replaced just change things that you havent done since you've gotten it and you should be okay

Need to replace cabin airfilter

if it's simialr to my mazda...there's a push-in clip and a retractable cord that support the glove box. Detach the cord and push in the clip and it should drop down and slide out.
The filter should be behind a clip-on compartment door.
