SOURCE: my windshield wipers won't turn off
CHEVYS ARE RENOWN FOR THEIR EXCELLENT WIPER SETUPS, The wiper switch control is more likely to be the suspect other than the wiper motor. New ones don't cost too much an not that hard to install. In the mean time, Find the fuse for the wipers and familiarurize yourself with it so you can remove it and still drive. Ensure the fuse does not operate any other important function before you remove it. Good luck
SOURCE: 2003 Chevy SuBurban The windshield wipers will not
It is actually a wiper control module that controls this. I have replaced many of them. It is the cover that is screwed to the wiper gear box. Remove both wiper arms. Remove the plastic cowl cover below the windshield that covers from side to side. Once inside you will see the wiper motor/transmission assy. Disconnect the electrical connector, and remove screws from cover, and replace it.

There are only to things which could cause this. The wiper motor cover or the switch itself.Which is part of the multi-function switch. The cover is cheaper. It is located under the air inlet grill. The cover is on the wiper motor itself. There is a circuit board on here that causes this problem. It is the part you need to replace.Hope this helps.Good luck.
