According to Kelly Blue Book, which is a national standard for car estimates a fair range for trade in would be between $3750 and $4650.

2001 Chrysler Sebring. Can a 1999 Sebring motor go into it please?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to model category.

Probably, but it is a gamble because the engine and your vehicle are in different 'Generations'.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysler_Sebring

There are a number of different types. Better to have yours remanufactured as a trade in deal.

My Chrysler 2003 model consumped up one litre of Petrol per one kilometer high fuel consumption. What can be the cause?.

i doubt very much if it would be running at 1 litre per 1 kilometer
at very rich combustion stops at 10:1 as the fuel puts he fire out
I'm not disputing your figures just I would be looking for a fuel leak from a hose , filter leak or leak in the tank or some one stealing fuel
run the fault codes
check the fuel system from tank to manifold

Hello, I wanted to ask what is the market value of the Toyota yaris 2001

go on line to red book valuations and you will get a good idea of the value of your car. Valuations are calculated on the year of manufacture ,mileage recorded, average expected condition. Mileage is calculated at 20.00klms per year (11 year old car = 220.000klms). Remember that the value of the car is what some one is willing to pay for it so keeping that in mind trade in value will be scrap value where as someone that wants a first car to learn to drive in may pay more if it looks good and runs well. If you want to upgrade to a new car then sometimes it is best to wait for a deal where the dealer offers good money for anything that can be delivered to the car yard as a deposit for a new vehicle

How much is a 01 Chevy malibu with 141,000 miles worth ?

Bluebook value for a private sale LS in good/average condition is $3125. Value will increase or decrease from there depending on condition and options, retail is higher, trade-in is lower. Hope this info helps. For more details you can visit KBB.com.

I'm going to be trading in my 2001 Pontiac Aztek in a week or so. The light has been on for many many months. I had the guys at Belle Tire look at it (while having other work done) and they assured me that...

I agree and the light is only lit when there is a problem. So you have to fix the problem! If i ever had someone tell me that the faults in my engine mean nothing i would blacken his eyes. You need to find a new mechanic.

On my seibring convertible where the milage reading is is says deck rather than the milage why

I have this same vehicle and model. "Deck" refers to the trunk being ajar. The sensors seem to be fairly finicky and sensitive. I have no answer, however, as to why "deck" appears even when the trunk seems to be closed.

I have a 2001 Ford Focus with approximately 71,500 miles. It feels like the transmission is slipping.Recently, I was driving on the interstate and the jerking got really bad at a higher rate of speed....

The first thing you should do is go to your local auto parts dealership that offers free computer diagnostics. They'll be able to read and interpret any codes your computer is posting, and that will pinpoint any engine or transmission problems.
Hopefully you simply need a transmission flush. If your transmission fluid is full of garbage, it could certainly cause the jerking you experienced. However, in case it turns out to be more serious, I would recommend limiting how much you drive the vehicle until you've gotten the problem identified.
If it turns out to be your transmission, compare repairing it to your car's Kelly Blue Book value and see if you think the investment is personally worth it. A new transmission will cost you approximately $2200 - $2800.
Keep in mind that trading in a vehicle with serious transmission problems will get you a significantly less trade-in value. That said, your car is nine years old. The choice is up to you.

Apparently the timing belt came off and caused considerable engine damage. On checking problems on internet this appears to be a not uncommon problem with this model.

Engine motor mounts on 2001 PT Cruiser

Place a block of wood under the engine sump to prevent damage when you jack up the engine to take the tension off the mount. Make sure you do not jack the engine up too much as you might damage the exhaust, cooling hoses etc.
