I am trying to find the o2 sensor, right side after the cat

HO2S( heated sensor) are before the cat convertor either in the manifold or exhaust pipe to the cat converter
O2 sensors are in the exhaust after the cat converter/s
I am drawing the difference because they are not all O2 sensors as each has a different operation for the position in the exhaust
the missing one will be in the exhaust manifold or pipe at a convenient position for servicing before the cat converter

the sensor before the cat is NOT an O2 sensor but a HO2S sensor ( two different sensors with different operations). If this is a V6 engine there are 4 sensors -- 2 --HO2S sensors before the cats --one for each bank cat and 2 O2 sensors after the cats.
The fault code would have spelt out the correct sensor for replacing

Bank 2 o2 sensor should be right side of engine and follow exhaust you should see one before cat and one behind cat you might have to go under car to see second one. If your car is a v6 it'll have 4 o2 sensors

standing in front of the vehicle looking at the engine bank 1 sensor 2 is the sensor after the cat converter on the bank on your left
bank one is the left cat ---bank 2 is the right cat. Sensor 1 is the one before the cat and sensor 2 is the one after the cat on either side

You will have a total of 4 O2 sensors, two on the left (driver's side-Bank 1) and two on the right (passenger side - Bank 2). Sensor 1 is before cat. convertor and sensor 2 after cat. converter. Hope this helps.

The "bank" references which side of the engine the O2 sensor is on. The "sensor" references if the O2 sensor is before the cat or after the cat.

Bank 1 is the same side of the engine as the number one cylinder. Bank 2 is the other side of the engine.

Sensor 1 is before the catalytic convert and sensor 2 is after the catalytic converter.

So bank 2 sensor 2 is the O2 sensor on the side of the engine opposite the number one cylinder and after the catalytic converter.

bank 1 on a chevy is on the drivers side youll have 4 O2 sensors sensor 1 bank 1 is on the engine side of the cat converter sensor 2 bank 1 is after the cat converter (drivers side )
bank 2 is on the passenger side sensor 1 is pre cat sensor 2 is post cat converter

the o2 sensor is going to be in the exhaust pipe near the cat.or in the exhaust manifold itself on the right side.

You didnt say what eng you have, but all have 4 O2's sensors, 2 upstreams, 2 down streams, left side up is 1/1,left side dwn is 2/1, right side up is 1/2, right side dwn is 2/2, on the exhaust system, always 2 sensor before the cats and 2 after the cats, depending on fuse, 5 v supply to sensors or 12v to the heater part of sensor, you have a short to ground in the harness of one sensor, check all harness and wiring, or a internal short in one sensor, there is also a relay that cotrolls the o2 sensors, swap it out, if you need more info, just ask. hi im wesall o2 sensors are located in the exaust system yours has one before the converter one after if it has duall exaust before the cat on drivers side will be upstream sensor bank 1 after cat right side will be bank 2 sensor 2
