My AC quit all of a sudden and it was a switch in the ac line. It was located on one of the air conditioner lines almost next to the firewall. Looked like a little box. When the p/u was running and the ac was turned on, I tapped it with a screwdriver handle and the ac compressor came on. I think it was a low pressure switch and is supposed to keep the ac from running without any freon, so you might try that. Best of luck.<!-- from fixya rte -->
2000 dodge ram 2500 truck 4wd the abs light and air bag light were on then the check engine light went on then all of a sudden all the gauges and warning lights went dead and off including the tach and other gauges. But now all the gauges are working and the check engine light went off with all the others and the tach and other gauges are working. what is the problem with this truck ? The only code it read was p1687 from the dtc. Is the problem the pcm or something else.
