How much motor oil do i need for my ford f350 how many gal

if it is a gas engine it should use 5 quarts, unless it has a heavy duty oil cooling system, then it may need up to seven quarts. Fill the motor with the first five quarts, the check the oil level with the oil dipstick. If its still low add one half of a quart at a time while checking level each time you add a half quar untill it show full on the oil dipstick..

How minny quarts of oil dose a 96 olds aurora hold

A typical automobile holds 4-5 quarts of oil.....Depends on the size of motor. If changing yourself, Drain out all oil, change filter, put oil plug back in. Put 3- 31/2 quarts back into car. put oil cap on and start car. Let run for 2-3 minutes then shut back off. Wait for a few. Pull out dipstick wipe, put back in then pull out a second time...Now you know how much you need to top off level.

I have the 4.7 motor how many quarts of oil for a oil change?

You will need 4 to 5 quarts of oil depending the size of oil filter you are using. Rule of thumb large oil filters will hold about 1 quart of oil and a small filter will hold half as much. hope this will help you.

HOW MANY QUARTS OF OIL DOES THIS TRUCK TAKE?

5 Quarts and then start the motor. Run the motor until the oil pressure reads on the gage. Shut the motor off, let sit for a minute or two and check the oil. If it reads low add the appropriate amount of oil to the crankcase. Then write the number of quarts of oil required on a piece of tape and place the tape on the inside of the glovebox for future reference.

4.2 quarts, 4.4 quarts with oil filter change

if you have the 2ZZ engine (XRS model) it is

4.4 quarts, 4.6 quarts with oil filter change

NOTE these are updated capacities that reflect changes identified in TSB: TSB-0134-08 issued July 15, 2008.
Your owners manual will reflect a lesser quantity that Toyota has since revised.

Type of oil for 94 v6 3.0 toyota 4x4

Your truck is going to take about 5.5 quarts.
Since your motor have some high miles on it, I would use non-synthetic 10w-30 oil that has the high mileage formula.
Synthetic will cause leaks on an old engine because the molecules are smaller and will go through gaskets easily.
High mileage formula will help recondition the gaskets.
