Indications are that you have a defective buckle - possibly some liquid or dirt got into the female end of one of your belts and does not allow a good connection when activated. Sometimes you can clean enough to restore function, sometimes a replacement part - scrap yard - has to be installed.

SOURCE: 93 mazda protege clutch repair tips needed

to take out your drive shafts you first need to drain oil from gearbox.plug is on the bottom of box.when this is done remove wheels..take off your disc caliper (2 bolts).tie them up out of way.remove disc rotor(should just slide off).then you need to remove split pins from your steering rack(tierod).. 2 bolts where the part bolts to the strut.next is at base (lower control arm).you will see a bolt and nut(this will be tight to get out use a soft punch like copper or brass shaft to knock bolt out.dont damage thread).to replace this you have to make sure it sits in the right place or you will damage thread when you fit the bolt...when all this is done the hard part comes.the drive shaft is very tight in the gearbox due to a spring type circlip on the axle shaft.you have to wrench the shaft towards you to free it .some times you may have to get a very solid big flat screwdriver in between the gearbox and shaft to loosen past the clip.when it is free ,just slide out.when you have done what you need to do.assembly is just reversing whatyou have just done . to fill gearbox up you have to take out the speedo cable and speedo drive from the gearbox (at back off motor,1 little bolt).top up .you have a mark on the drive to tell you the level.hope this helps (have fun)

SOURCE: Shoulder seat belt works only intermittently

Yes there is a history of problems with this system, one is the limit switches at eacg end of the track and the other is the motors, there is no real fix other than replacing it.

My 2014 V70 geartronic has suddenly started showing a red warning triangle and a picture of the interior showing which seat belts are fastened. Any ideas please?

The passenger seat has a occupant weight sensor in it. If she placed her purse or anything in it, the warning will come on. Either fasten that belt or remove any objects you have in the seat. This was my very first thought when I read your question.

Passenger seat belt warning stays on even with ignition off

Possible seatbelt latch problem. There are sensors in the latch part of the assembly that inform the restraint module as to what is happening. Sometimes foreign objects get stuck in the latch assemblies ( Children ) and can affect operation. Scanning the airbag module for codes will let you know what part of the restraint system is causing these lights to be on. As long as the airbag light remains on, the airbags will not deploy in the event of an accident

Flashing seat belt light

There are sensors in some car seats that pick up if someone is sitting in the seat, when the car is started, the safety system will check that if there is a person in the seat, if so, the seatbelt has to be clicked to stop the light from flashing. I have found that if I have a heavy weight sitting on my passenger seat, the warning light will come on to say the seat belt is not fastened as it thinks someone is sitting there. It could be a faulty switch under the seat that is causing your problem.

Jeep cherokee 1995 makes 10 beeps after 5 mins

How many does it make after 10 minutes? Try fastening the seatbelt, or making sure the seatbelt sensor works. Its in the buckle down below the seat. If its unplugged, the seatbelt sensor cannot report that the seatbelt is fastened.

Dodge Grand Caravan 2009, warning sounds while turning. No lights on the dash and no warning messages.

The seat switch is sensitive and may be wearing out. The alarm dings when there is weight in the seat but seat belt is not fastened. The turn may have closed the failing seat switch.

2003 ford escape seat belt warnign light

Probably no need to see an expensive mechanic. My seat belt warning light came on a few days ago when there were four people in the car and the rear seat belts weren't fastened (I thought that was why it lit up). However, the light came on and stayed on when I was the only person in the car. Logically, it suggested a bad connection somewhere, so I checked the connector under the passenger seat and made sure it was properly fastened together. I then sprayed a small amount of WD40 into the female clasps of both front seat belt connectors, clipped and unclipped the belts a few times and the light is now fine. Try it - it worked for my 2003 Escape.

Seatbelt beeps constantly even went belts are fastened

See if there is a plug under your driver's seat that is unplugged. Can you remember shoving anything under the seat that might have caused it to come unplugged?

Warning light came on this morning, figure of a man with the seatbelt. What does this indicate?

This is the seatbelt indicator, its not seeing that your seatbelt is fastened ifthe light stays on and the chime keeps going off.

There is a switch inthe seatbelt that closes when the seatbelt is buckled, and if not, thelight stays on and the chime goes off.

There are a couple reasons thiscould happen. It could be a wiring issue going to the seatbelt buckle,or more likely the buckle itself. Your truck is pretty new, so if youare under 36,000 miles the repair would normally be covered underwarranty.

Also, I suggest check the Repair Manual for Jeep-WK-Grand-Cherokee-Section-08O-Restraints (page 473 and next, for Seat Belt)

Hope helps with this (remember rated this) Good luck.
