I do not have a diagram but, bank 1 is the bank where #1 cylinder is at. other side would be bank #2. so bank #1 o2 sensor is just before convertor.

Hi the p1684 means the battery has been disconnected within the last 50 starts, the P0135 is Oxygen O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank1, Sensor1), you may have notived an increase in fuel consumption. and the P0456 code means evaporated emissions system -small leak detected the causes could be either A small leak in any of the EVAP hoses or fuel tank hoses, a small leak in the purge valve or vent valve or the EVAP Canister may be leaking
Hope this helps

My 96 Chevy Blazer 4X4 failed echeck, due to codes: P0132(bank1, sensor1), P0135(bank1, sensor1), and P0143(bank1, sensor 3). All are O2 sensor codes. What sensors need replaced, and where are they...

Some of your O2 sensors are before the catalytic converter and some are after, based on your description. I've seen some cars that had to have all of the O2 sensors replaced when the exhaust system was replaced.

O2 sensors need a special socket to remove, and are best done when the exhaust is hot, and, also, antiseize compound should be used on the threads with the new O2 sensors.

Be prepared to have an exhaust technician change them out for you in order to get it passed the eCheck.

Good luck on this repair.

How do I change the oxygen sensor

Locate the faulty oxygen sensor in the exhaust system, disconnect the electrical connection, and then you will either need the correct size box wrench or oxygen sensor socket(available at most part stores) to remove the sensor. I recommend either warming up the exhaust system a bit and being careful not to get burned or using liquid wrench to help loosen it up. Installation is the reverse. Just make sure you remove the correct sensor, these new vehicles often use more than one oxygen sensor.(bank1 is driver's side, bank2 is passenger's side, sensor1 is before the catalytic converter, and sensor2 is after the catalytic converter)

Were are the 02 senors located on a 2001 saturn L100

This is a 4 cylinder right? Open the hood and look down between the engine and firewall, this is behind the engine. You will see the exhaust pipe, follow the exhaust pipe up to where it is bolted to the exhaust manifold. You will see the upstream O2 sensor screwed in there, more or less horizontally with wire connector pointed at driver side of car. Now get under the car and find the catalytic converter in the exhaust pipe, a big bulbous thing, the downstream O2 sensor will be after the converter, but before the muffler and will also have an electrical connection.
